While I understand the desire for some to have their egos stroked I find that the lies begin with the small stuff and it is better to be honest but to also have a reasonable solution as well as the willingness to support an endeavor to change for the better. I'd rather be told I'm a fat, egotistical, jerk than have someone give me a polite lie which leads me to unreasonable assumptions or conclusions about myself.
But of course this is not an excuse to be unkind in your honesty. There are polite ways to be honest just as there are polite ways to lie.

We don’t officially” start for another few days but yes. We still have a long ways to go. We had an early delivery a few days ago. Otherwise it’s just been a waiting game. Quite a few look ready to go any day so things will get very busy soon.
Just getting in ourselves. How was your day?

Spent the morning in snow up to my waist cleaning the roofs off outbuildings from the two feet of snow that fell on the weekend. Another 50 centimetres forecast for the next 36 hours. Busy afternoon with small stuff. Prayer meeting this evening, so all in all a full day

That’s a lot of snow! Wow!
Just saw a snow pack report for the Sierras and man is it sad.
We’re seeing abnormally high temps here. I’m very concerned. We’ve already broken high records for the entire month in just a few days. As lovely as the 70’s weather is we need feed. No rain, no hay, no pasture feed. We’re going through hay in a speed I’ve never seen for us here this time of year. We’re going to run out soon. Starting to look at all the cows and figure out who is going to have to go. It’s heartbreaking. Part of the business I hate.
Last year we were building nests for the cows and calves we were so flooded. Amazing year to year the changes.

I signed off for a bit because meds made me dopey but didn’t kick in so am back for a bit, if I disappear suddenly I haven’t been raptured, I’ve likely fallen asleep

Ha! You sound like me. When I get ready to sleep, I'm gone. That's what sleep apnea does to ya!

Was busy shoveling snow as I mentioned earlier, watching it all fill back n again, it’s what I call invisible work, like mowing the lawn, the only time people notice is when it isn’t done

I can't tolerate any of the cpaps. They blow my stomach up! I've had the surgery for it but it only worked for bout 10 years.

I don’t have CFS but I know how draining chronic debilitating illness can be.

I'm tired to the point of not sleeping, another annoying symptom... But such is life.
