So do you like be far from the jail? I’ve never been to Tenn. but looked up Clifton one evening out of curiousity
Sorry about the lapse. My Gout has flared up and I went to the kitchen and drank some pickle juice and took some Turmeric.

When I used to drive through here going to see granddaughters, I'd think I'd never live here because of the prison. I don't ever think about it! I live about 5 miles from it on the river.

I never heard of pickle juice for gout before

Traditional, I read a lot of really old books. I also pity folks who take what the CDC says is gospel.
Isn't that the truth! IMO they are just another bureaucrat invention struggling for job security!

And then there was one!

Hahahaaahahaha!

While I understand the desire for some to have their egos stroked I find that the lies begin with the small stuff and it is better to be honest but to also have a reasonable solution as well as the willingness to support an endeavor to change for the better. I'd rather be told I'm a fat, egotistical, jerk than have someone give me a polite lie which leads me to unreasonable assumptions or conclusions about myself.
But of course this is not an excuse to be unkind in your honesty. There are polite ways to be honest just as there are polite ways to lie.

Well I get my ego deflated quite often so I'm in balance.

Just say "bless their heart" after you are brutally honest.:)

:D I tried that once it just makes them brutally angry. Maybe I did it wrong.
"Bless your heart" can literally mean "God bless your heart," but it can also be a nice way of saying to bugger off. It depends on the context. And how the other person decides to interpret it.

If you want a strong reaction say it like this:
"Well bless your tiny dried up heart."
They say when a woman is yelling at you, it's because she loves you but when she is quiet she is plotting how to kill you. So keep her yelling...:sarcasm:
