I went to the big town today and stopped by my bank branch. It turns out the check is legit. The manager said she's seen a few of those checks recently. They were shutting down that program for good and had run a thorough audit on it.

Good morning all. Today should be beautiful weather, tomorrow should be severe weather. (I hate these severe weather times).

I've been around the internet today, and looking out the window at SUNSHINE! Tomorrow should be a rainy day, and then about 7 non-rainy days with high temp of about 75* F. Almost perfect.
Played with the grand daughter today.
She nipped me, yep that tooth finally came through.
But not where I was expecting it.
It's on top not on bottom.
So she is all slobbering again, so another one is coming.
She took her first step today without holding on to anybody.
When she realized what she done, she plopped down and cried.
Granny just cheered her on told her she was getting so big.
That brought a smile, giggles from my little ladybug.
Tomorrow I will do grocery shopping for my parents.
Run the sweeper at home,dishes before I got sit grand daughter.

summer is here ... with our B&B we essentiall6 make our year’s income over the next four months so not much time for chit or chat until fall. Still stop in and lurk from time to time but not very active

Grand daughter now has three top teeth,no bottom.
Sharp little nubs. No slobbering, or drooling going on right now.
She's taking baby steps toward walking on her own.
She terrorizes the dog in the walker though.
Dog has actually lost weight since she's figured out how to go forward in the walker.

Speaking of granddaughters, my 3 month old granddaughter received this little Hawaiian jumper from my family, who lives in Hawaii.

I still need to do Wal-Mart run, bummer.
Got my gear unpacked, mostly put away.
Fired up the grill at 0600 hours so the steaks are cooked.
Would love a nap, probably not happening.
Got to get ready for 6 days of grand daughter sitting this week.
Want to do that small load of laundry.
Make up meals for the week so when I get home at night grab home cooked meal eat, shower, bed pretty much in that order.
Somewhere in that order, play with Strawberry, let her out to do her business etc.
This is the dreaded week of 0500 hours start my day and ends at 2100 hours.
This week happens every 6 weeks.

I candled the 7 duck eggs in the incubator again last night,2 weren't fertile I guess but the other 5 are looking good. About my luck,after all I've done over the last year to get an egg to hatch,they probably will now that the display on the incubator went out and I'm planning on getting another 1 .

Mr. Murphy just loves hard working folks. Just think how much better life would be if Mr. Murphy and Mother Natures would just take a break for awhile.
