Good afternoon T/F. Been cutting down some dead trees the last 4 days, well cut 1 day-recuperate the next then repeat, and today is my recuperate day but I may wait until Saturday to do the last tree since tomorrow I plan on unloading the truck. Why do I keep doing this to myself ???

Hey Kev,Dutch and Mark.

Got the wood unloaded down at the neighbor's,he said it should last all winter,so I'll wait to cut down the maple tree,I've had enough for awhile anyway .

Hey Shooter and Dutch, whenever you get done with "the runs".

Sorry to hear about your friend Shooter.
Keep in touch with him & let him know you'll be there for him buddy, as that's what friends do!

My cousin & I were in your neck of the woods the other day, Bluebell, Pa. visiting friends of hers. Years ago when I was a teenager, I use to caddy up there at the Bluebell Country Club. Man did I make some good money as a kid, doing that! Different day today, as I don't think the young kids hustle like we use to back in the day! I'm grateful to God & my parents for giving & showing me such a strong work ethic at such an early age.

Being a caddy was hard work, carrying those golf bags around in all that hot sun, but I always felt good about it, cause I always had a pocket full of money & I felt sense of accomplishment even as a teen!

You were right down the street from me Dutch...if you know where Arcadia College ( the old Beaver College ) is located...it is basically at the starting point of Glenside's business district on Easton Road.

...and Yes, my friend and I had another visit this morning...as the weekend is the only time he is free from all the doctors Tests and Chemo...

Funny how years ago when I lived in that area, I knew it like the back of my hand! I must admit that the other day, everything looked foreign to me as that area has changed so much and I cannot begin to tell you the last time I was in that area. It's still a beautiful area, just different to me now.

Speaking of Beaver College, yes my friend I remember it well, and long before they changed the name and when it was an all female college. I recall the campus as being a beautiful one with castellum/medieval style architectural buildings. I don't remember seeing it as it was starting to get dark when we were in that area. Heck, had I known we were going to be near you guys, we could have met for a "cold one"! :drinking:

Oh well, maybe next time!
