Hi all, 7 year navy vet moved to the Austin area. This world has left me uneasy so i've been starting to prep for a bugout plan and protection. I don't feel bugging in would be a good idea for me due to being in a heavily residential area and not enough security. Plans down the road would be to move a bit further out into the country.

In the meantime, my main goal would be to build relationships in the area to develop plans to defend our families in case of SHTF. Please let me know if you are in the area and are on the same page. Thanks.
