It is spread primarily through saliva, making kissing a common means of transmission. That's why they call it the kissing disease although the Army called it EBV or something like that. Sharing food, drinks, or personal items with an infected person can also spread the virus.
My niece came down with mono when she was a teen. I told my wife that I was proud of her. That had the whole family laughing. Well, probably not my niece as much as the rest.
I don't remember the last time that I kissed someone. Decades ago.

There are air born viruses that mimic Mono!! Take l-lysine!!
There is currently a lot on Mono in Alaska.
Take l-lysine and kiss everyone you can!!
It will probably be all over the place before long!!
How much (with food or not with food)
I would need a lot of cash to get a woman to kiss me. Far more moose than women in Alaska.
I haven't heard of mono in 40 years, I thought it was extinct.

@Supervisor42 as long as those young 'uns are still akissin', there'll be mono. I never had it. tested negative but felt awful. LOL

Did you have to chew off your arm the next morning?
500-1000mg a day. I am currently taking 500mg twice a day. With or without food!!
