Myself and 2 other guys put up 10,000 square bales a year, plus 500 round bales.

We only had extra help stacking it in the barns.

Uuuuggghhh..
Well, you got 2 new bionic knees for doing it :p.

I hope not! 😱
Throwing 50# haybales can. My older brother was a monster when it came to launching bales up off his knee. He could easily launch one 8' up all day long.
Wore his right hip joint completely out. By the time he was 60 he couldn't raise his foot 12" off the ground. He got it replaced and only got to use it 4 years.
I offered to unbolt it from him before they lowered him in the ground.
I'll need one in a few years.
They said he hadn't signed an organ-donor card :(.

Chassis parts, yes, I am. Mine have 'high-miles' on 'em.
Shoulders, elbows, and hips, it will be a race to see which one goes first. Knees are ok.
That thing under the kilt, they can keep that running strong after you're 90

Thanks! That reminded me of the time Grandma was admitted with dementia. Mom asked me what dementia was. I told her it is a female condition. You need to understand that Mom lives to have something new to talk on the phone about. I knew she'd be talking to her gals in short order. The next time I saw her she really wanted to be mad but she was too busy keeping the grin off her face.

I'm reading a book - by a zoologist yet - titled "The Naked Ape". He rather casually mentions that statistically, that function goes south around 83, on average. I am 82.7 (just sayin')

George Burns was once asked "At what age do you stop enjoying sex?" He said, "I don't know, you have to ask someone older than me."
