My son bought a cheap car, I mean really cheap, it had a broken hood latch, tied down with clothes hanger . It came loose while he was driving & the hood smashed the windshield.
That was enough to total the car, see cheap.
We sold it for parts & made money.
Did not keep it long enough to get the insurance card in the mail.

The scoutmaster did this with popcorn sales, I paid the $35.00, because I was tired of the little old Ladies having blank stares & saying "Do you have cookies?".
Cub scouts sales popcorn. the money was well spent & took it off my Taxes.
