We have wild pigs out here he can kill if he wants bacon!!😉
I'd love to try wild boar meat. Back in the late 1990s my cousin and I, who have never killed one before, decided to go hunting for them on his sister and brother-in-law's ranch just north of Houston. His teenager daughter her friend decided to go along. We were in the woods and heard a heavy grunt. We assumed a protective position because of the kids and waited but the pigs must have went in another direction. We decided to go back to the house because we were concerned about the kids' safety. DARN! I would have loved to try the bacon and other wild boar meat!

There's not a lot of bacon on a wild hog except in late fall. what you want to do is nail a small one and
steam him until the meat falls off the bone and make BBQ or baby back ribs, the rear hams are heavenly as well.
