Did/Do any of You, take a Camera with You, to copy that Happening, to be shown to the Whole World Proudly...?!?

Of course not. But sometimes I'll take a photo of some of the animals on my trapline. Or pics of the grandkids with some of the critters they caught.

if I paid thousands for a moose hunt in canada I certainly would have the guide company film the hunt..

A licensed hunt for legal game animals is not the same as putting down a beloved pet or even a domestic animal .... Even inferring it is the same is disingenuous and crude.

the money raised from hunting licenses and hunting permits has done much to protect and bolster the natural wild game in multiple countries...

I’ve seen many a photo of others hunting and fishing trips. I don’t do photos or video. While some have taken pictures of me hunting or fishing I’m camera shy. If you want a picture of you and your trophy, I’ll take it for you, with your camera.

Weird cuz I was raised and my sister and I were living on our family farm ..
and we never did shoot cats or dogs NEVER

but we had cattle and those when it was time were sent to slaughterhouse
to be sold for meat

Even my goat was my baby. She lived all her life to the end
and a vet did give her the needle to put her to sleep

If you ever saw what happens in the “slaughterhouse” you sent your cattle, I would say shooting a dog is pretty tame.

Back when I was a kid, hunting was a chore; as soon as I got to a Winn Dixie, I hung my rifle up. There is no sanity to me, to buy a deer stamp, get up at 4:00 AM, sit there in freezing rain just to kill something that never hurt me. Now, popping one in the corn patch- that was a bit different. But a Camera? never occurred to me; we had Kodak back then. I did take a fair 6 point trophy once, his skull is still on my wall.
