You can also make a Perfect Manhattan or a Perfect Rob Roy using equal parts of Sweet and Dry Vermouth.

I am not a fan of Sweet Vermouth ergo I will opt for the dry version. ...
My father-in-law has long been a huge fan of Antica Formula sweet vermouth in his Manhattans, so he introduced me to that, and I always had to have that on hand for when he came over. Eventually, I adopted his appreciation for it.

I use it in Americanos now (having recently gone to Italy...I love the Italian tradition of the afternoon spritz in the town piazza).

I've never been a big gin person, but I know that a lot of people are, so I thought I'd try a few gin cocktails before I gave up on gin altogether. I thought the sweet vermouth might be a good way to soften (and provide a little more flavor to) a martini, and I think it does that.

I like homemade kahlua over homemade vanilla icecream 🤤. Also like homemade Irish cream. A good margarita can hit the spot on a hot day. I don’t know many mixed drinks.

I actually had one called a “red headed $1ut” - I did not name it. It’s yager, peach schnapps and cranberry juice. That was pretty good. I am pretty sensitive to alcohol so can’t experiment much (not from a drunkenness standpoint but from an allergy standpoint 😕)
