What Doc said
what did I miss,,,,,what news
but it occurred in the Middle East, Australia and New Zealand, Florida
My coworker and I are going to be making hand sanitizer for our employees. We work with the elderly to it's important to have and while I may have a personal stash, the office definitely was not prepared. We're using high concentration rubbing alcohol and mixing with aloe gel but making sure to maintain 60% alcohol. I'm reminding and encouraging my employees to practice good sanitation and hygiene at all times, not just at work so they will not get sick and potentially spread to a patient.I have 3 cases of 91 alcohol, I'll use it instead of hand sanitizer when I run out, alcohol is far cheaper per ounce and basically the same thing. At home, soap and water.
I was telling my Dad that it feels the day before a hurricane. But every day feels like that. Watching, waiting, wondering what will happen. Today at work we got the protocols on how to handle for our industry. We are now providing additional training to all employees. But at the end of the day I feel like it only makes so much difference and what will happen, will happen. We just have to be prepared for it to get bad, and hope for the best. Now the main question is how many weeks, or months will this slow motion train wreck last?
That we are rethinking our preps after the news today. Maverick shared with us that Lebanon, Oregon has closed all their grocery stores.
That's a true SHTF event if this starts happening all across the country.they can't do that,,,,,it will cause riots thefts home invasions,,,,,people will not sit and starve they will go door to door and take what others have...........................there will be more killed over that than what the Virus will kill

We are monitoring this situation daily, and, as we do with any unusual event, we will watch what’s happening locally and adjust business operations and policies as needed. We are in close communication with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as other health organizations, and are following their guidelines as well as the advice of our own Chief Medical Officer.
you know Walmart is not going to pass up the chance to make a BUCK,,,,,,,,,,,,they will be open until hell freezes over
Oh I know that, but I'm thinking they shut the Walmart down in Kentucky over the coronavirus without notice, I'm not sure of the back story of that.
well it won't do any good to worry about it,we can't do anything about it anyways,,,
me I will watch what is going on in my little corner of the world and not worry about other places
Agree with you 110%!!!Just in case you don’t already know An alternative to buying bleach is to buy pool shock. Bleach actually goes bad, but pool shock won’t. Just make sure it is at least 68% Calcium Hypochlorite and no coloring or smell added.
DIRECTIONS...
You can use granular calcium hypochlorite to disinfect water.
Add and dissolve one heaping teaspoon of high-test granular calcium hypochlorite (approximately ¼ ounce) for each two gallons of water, or 5 milliliters (approximately 7 grams) per 7.5 liters of water.
The mixture will produce a stock chlorine solution of approximately 500 milligrams per liter, since the calcium hypochlorite has available chlorine equal to 70 percent of its weight.
To disinfect water, add the chlorine solution in the ratio of one part of chlorine solution to each 100 parts of water to be treated. This is roughly equal to adding 1 pint (16 ounces) of stock chlorine to each 12.5 gallons of water or (approximately ½ liter to 50 liters of water) to be disinfected.
Somebody forgot to say something about calcium hypochorite...you can add it to water very slowly, BUT NEVER ADD WATER TO THE DRY CHEMICAL!!! If you dump it into water slowly, it will be diluted and poses no problems. If you add water into the chemical, it will EXPLODE: big time boom. I learned how to use it with salt to make my own type of plastic which is 1.3 times stronger than dynamite...calcium hypochlorite can be a fire and explosion hazard (as well as releasing poisonous chlorine gas) if it's stored improperly. May sure that you mind the temperature and humidity where you store it
