Weirdest name of a town in each state.

I must have relatives from back east. I was raised on scrapple (Pennsylvania) and my wife's family eats creamed chip beef (Delaware). It is entirely likely my relatives came to fly over country via Pennsylvania, but I am not aware of any of my wife's family having been near Delaware.

I've heard livermush is just a version of scrapple...maybe the pork version? We made ours from beef, but we never put beef liver in it as far as I know. Liver was a cut of "meat" unto itself. :) It wasn't considered offal.

Gotta love boiled peanuts! I haven't had them in forever. It may be time to do that again.

[Edit: Oh, I just saw fried squirrel (West Virginia). I've had pan fried squirrel. Perfectly good protein.]

Don't knock a garbage plate 'til you've had one!

That's two grilled hots on a bed of seasoned potatoes and mac salad smothered in meat sauce with chopped onions and mustard (French's, naturally, because it's from Rochester, too). There are dozens of variations from different restaurants.

It's a tough deal. I definitely believe in an eye for an eye, but what scares me is a kangaroo court and then find out the person did not commit murder years after he was convicted and killed. I'd like to toss in there that if they did find out later the person was innocent, the judge and others are put on trial and get the death penalty if they knew what they were doing.

That’s actually kinda interesting.
ETA: WA - it’s an investment company. OR it has changed with the generations from beverages to an Inn. ID - I know some of the Joyces. The ones I know are nice folks.

I never heard of Davis Funeral Chapel
I hadn't heard of Saunderskill Farm Market, either. It's been in continuous operation since 1680.

My all time favorite business name from my travels was a funeral home chain in Buffalo Ny. Started and ran by an Italian family. Their last name was Amigone.

Pronounced in my southern english it’s the ‘Am I gone’ funeral home. I cracked up every time I drove by one… 🤣 doesn’t seem like the place to be if you’re in doubt! 🤣
