Yep. Down here in Louisiana, we don't have 'counties', we have Parishes:
Louisiana is divided into 64 parishes, which are similar to counties in other states:
Acadia Parish, Allen Parish, Ascension Parish, Assumption Parish, Avoyelles Parish, Beauregard Parish, Bienville Parish, Bossier Parish, Caddo Parish, and Calcasieu Parish.... . The term "parish" became accepted in Louisiana place names because the French and Spanish ruled the area when the church and state were entwined. The parish was both the seat of religious control and came to be accepted as a civil boundary.

That seems low for Kansas/Ohio/penn. If it's an Amish wedding, it costs a fortune. My fav cousin was over today...her grandson was just married in Ohio. 700 guests. The meal night before for a few hundred, ditto breakfast, sit down chicken dinner after the wedding for the noon meal (and all the fixings), Later dinner for half that on wedding night. Next day a few hundred three meals. That's just the food.
