What BS were they trying to pull?
Trying to add a 1 cent sales tax by saying it was for safety and police. This is a "specific" tax, requiring 2/3rds vote, not the 50% plus one, required for a general election. Judge read thru the BS and forced the city to state the real reason..."more money in the general fund for any and all needs."

We are at 7.75% currently. I had a typo originally. We are currently at 7.75%, but the city is trying to raise it to 8.75%
