My little bird aint so little anymore. It's like I woke up one morning and 5'2 110 pound kid with a deep voice came walking down the stairs! We will be celebrating his 11th birthday this Saturday.

Hash, Thanks for this pic. You just can't believe how many memories come back to my mind looking at this pic. I loved riding my dirt bikes back in the day. I had more fun and joy riding than most anything I had done up to that point in my life. On top of that, seeing the wrench in his hand makes me think he likes to work on his bike. Hopefully other stuff as well. I used to work on all kinds of stuff in my youth. Having saw other pic of him driving the bobcat and such reminds me of driving on and working on farm equipment. THANK YOU

He has grew up working with me, we have a lot of fun but work hard so we can. He is way different than any kid you'll ever meet in todays times. Its kind of sad because non of the kids in his school believe him when he tells them he can operate a dozer or drive a 10 speed dump truck. I also have a hard time remembering he is 11 I probably push him harder than I should but I just want him to be the absolute best he can be.

Same with me and my step dad. He would show me how to do stuff, watch while I did it a few times then turn me loose with it. I felt like he pushed me hard back then. But looking back he put a work ethic in me I wouldn't have had otherwise.

The kitchen is looking good @Terri9630 and I can see the work you have put into it :) .
Thanks. Hubby has done most of it. He built the cabinets and doors/drawers. I just did the painting and help install the sink and appliances.

My nephew sells a lot of hay, round and square bales. He ran out of last years square bales about 2 months ago. Today a highway paving company called with a big order for square bales.

He and the boys came up this afternoon and started un-rolling round bales in the pasture then re-baling them as square bales. Hey, I guess you do what you have to do.

I know hay farmers who do that fairly often.
