How big are your blocks? It would probably drive me crazy working with anything less than 2 in squares to try to piece. I'll keep my fingers crossed ! Excited to see them all together.I piece it with a sewing machine, but I will be doing the quilting by hand. This is a pattern I found online...all the blocks will be the same, colors and everything. The curves were actually fun but the lengths were hard to predict, some were right on and some were short. I had to adjust for that when I squared each piece. It was the first time I did curves (google was very helpful) as well as the first time I have used paper foundations. Keep your fingers crossed ... I should have the rest of the blocks done fairly soon and we will see how it really looks!

The block I posted is 30.5” square. The smallest pieces are 2”.How big are your blocks? It would probably drive me crazy working with anything less than 2 in squares to try to piece. I'll keep my fingers crossed ! Excited to see them all together.
I'm currently working on a quilt for the second granddaughter for when she gets her big girl bed. It is very similar to her sisters since they will be sharing a bedroom. But since it has been awhile now, could not find all of the same fabrics. For the most part I had leftovers thank goodness.
I dont blame you one bit working with that size block. Anything smaller and I would be cross eyed! The block I posted is 30.5” square. The smallest pieces are 2”.

If you look closely at the top of the picture you can see my shoes for scale.I have to admit I was trying to figure it out thinking of a 2 inch square and counting out but then got to thinking it is hard to really tell with a picture so I had to ask. I did have to lol at myself when I read your response.
I am shooting for a king...better large than too small!Well I saw something at the top. . . Just didn't realize they were shoes. Are you making it for a bed? That would fit a queen nicely I would think. Put a bigger sashing and you got a king size easy.
I have one row of three done, so the piecing shouldn’t take too long. I will take a picture when I get that done.I just showed my hunny. . . telling him the whys it would scare me. He was very impressed. Just be sure to give us a picture of the quilt top when done.
Thanks! It isn’t perfect, but I am getting better! Now that looks very impressive @Doreena! I love it.
I am far from perfect either. . . Think we are our own worst critics it really does look GOOD.Thanks! It isn’t perfect, but I am getting better!

Will you be doing the sashing in one of the darker colors? I think that would set it off nicely.Getting pinned.

Yep, that is what I planned. Will you be doing the sashing in one of the darker colors? I think that would set it off nicely.
No sooner then I spread it out for the photo, there she was! Sorry you are allergic, she makes me smile....mostly!It beautiful except for that allergen on top of it! Lol, if I wasn’t allergic to cats I’d probably like them! Really good design on the quilt.
I understand completely. I have dogs that are part of the family. And I don’t sneeze all the time from them. I think if I had known how loving the pets were the kids might have been in trouble! No sooner then I spread it out for the photo, there she was! Sorry you are allergic, she makes me smile....mostly!

Machine pieced, but all hand quilted. Every seam...That is very nice!! All hand stitched still? You have more patience than I do girl!
Just followed instructions, and sewed slowly! They weren’t that bad.I also have no understanding of the curve or the high peak triangles so you are above me om that.
I love that quilt for a crazy cat lady. . . like my sister.
This is a quilt I did for a charity auction...Forgotten Felines of Huntsville...that will be held in May.
