It goes down under heavy traffic, then comes back up. Mornings it's like playing wack-a-mole to read the next article.
Must be getting extra traffic due to the current political environment. As you notice I posted in the evening so you’re probably right. I was visiting at a an off time.

I remember Whoopi Goldberg from some older movies and found her funny. Jumpin Jack Flash I think was one of them- which I also think was a song title from The Rolling Stones.

I do remember that Ted Danson dated Whoopi Goldberg for awhile. I have no idea what either of them are doing right now. I liked Whoopi as Guinan on Star Trek: TNG.

I don't think I've ever used the ignore feature. Not quite sure how. If I don't like what I'm reading I keep scrolling. Sometimes I will start to type a response and then delete it.

My friend's house purchase fiasco made me realize that my house is unsellable unless we get a lot of things fixed first and it is going to be expensive and will suck. The barn is beyond fixing and I don't know how we are going to safely demo it and if we can salvage any parts of it without great expense. We were quoted $50k several years back to tear it down and rebuild something smaller. It still has lumber and a lot of stuff stored. Also, the workshop is falling apart too and needs to be fixed.

Also need to get Mom to update her will and make arrangements for whatever happens after she dies. I know she doesn't have a big life insurance policy or anything. I have a very small one-- should cover my cremation or whatever and I don't want a funeral. I know its selfish, but I hope she outlives me but want to be prepared if she doesn't. Although, I'm still hoping to checkout at 50. Nice round number and long enough for me.

I despise the term “Transgender”! People can’t change their gender any more than the American Indian could “Shape Shift” and become a Wolf, Buffalo or Hawk. “Transgender People” are nothing more than Drag Queens and Queers. That’s what they were called in the 60’s. That’s what they still are, even though society lacks the courage to say it.

Are You Ready, don't be eating anything for a few minutes :

Whoopi and Ted began a controversial affair, and despite their best efforts to keep their relationship a secret, it ultimately resulted in the end of his 16-year marriage to Cassandra, who walked away with their two children and $30 million.

Sadly, Whoopi and Ted only lasted 18 months before calling it quits, and the actress later revealed her biggest regret about the end of their relationship.

"It was really painful, and it was very public," she once told Closer. "And the loss of his friendship hurts a great deal. We can never go and have a soda, anywhere."

She added: "I'm friends with almost every man I've gone out with, except this man."

Following their whirlwind romance, both Ted and Whoopi quickly found love again. Whoopi met her third husband Lyle Trachtenberg just a year later, although the relationship wasn't meant to be as the two were only together for a year before calling it quits.

Meanwhile, Ted found love again with actress Mary Steenburgen, whom he met on the set of his next major movie Pontiac Moon.

Luckily for Ted, it was meant to be and the two have been together ever since. Speaking about his 27-year marriage to Mary, the actor told Us Weekly: "When I die, I will have known in this life what it is to love as a human being and to be loved, and I am so grateful."

That guy was boinking bag-face?! It must have been true love because you'd have to be blind to do the horizontal disco with her!

I recently encountered a woman with a severe speech impediment….she can’t stop talking! I’ve always been fairly economical with my words, but not her. I can ask her a simple yes/no question and I kave time to go to the kitchen and make a sandwich. When I return to the phone…she’s still “answering”.
It’s so damned annoying!
WTH, anyone know wordy people like that?
