Maybe ol Bill Gates will be building lots of "Beyond Meat" factories on his land, and national food distribution centers. He owns alot of those fake meat companies.

I love vegetables, as a side dish to the dead animal on the plate! I like the idea of beyond meat but with all the processing and nitrates in it I have a feeling it’s not good for you in the long run. Why does everyone want to mess with our food anyway? What’s wrong with whole natural foods....

like you say freedom of choice is a wonderful thing, so is not being persecuted for my right to live the way I want. its called democracy.

In a democracy, everyone's rights matter.

Folks can't go into the office. Can't go to work at the restaurant or the bar or the concert venue, the hair salon, meatpacking plants and manufacturers have had issues with staffing, USPS and FedEx have had issues staffing, my local trash and utility companies have had issues keeping staff safe during COVID. Folks are out of work, they can't afford health insurance or rent, can't afford utilities, can't afford daycare, can't send their kids to in-person classes...

All those folks are supposed to make sacrifices so you don't have to? So you can live the way you want? That's not democracy. That's tyranny.

Everyone have the right to make bad decisions, but no one's handing out trophies for it. Grasshopper has the right to spend all summer loafing, but ant's under no obligation to ease his burden. Ant's not a mean guy, grasshopper isn't being "persecuted"- just being held accountable, facing the unpleasant consequences of his decisions.

Your job is to keep you and the people around you safe. If that means wearing a mask or getting a vaccine, so be it. If you're not gonna to keep other people safe, don't expect them to accommodate you. To risk their health and well-being on your behalf. Don't expect to make lousy choices without suffering some consequences- and if you don't like the consequences, don't make lousy choices next time.

I dont agree, I have never had covid and live where the chances of getting it are low, why should I take a vaccine for something I have never had or will never have. these vaccines are only good for a maximum of 6 months anyway so why all the negativity around non vaccinated persons. people need to calm down and stop behaving like headless chickens.
an ID card for vaccines sounds like Nazi Germany "show your papers"!
like you say freedom of choice is a wonderful thing, so is not being persecuted for my right to live the way I want. its called democracy.

It is absolutely i possible for you to say you will never get Covid unless you live on your own and have no contact with anyone, There is nothing tyranical about it either. If you enjoy any benefits of society, Pensions, NHS care, using parks, Shops etc you are obliged to give EQUAL consideration to both sides.

Again I point out that YOU are 100% entitled to not have the vacine, and society is 100% to not interact with you in any way that could endanger them.

Nah. We are not a borg collective. An individual should not be forced to do something because someone decides it's for the common good. Who decides? Who is the king of all? Human beings have the right to opt out of whatever they choose. Self sufficient individuals realize this.

Human beings have the right to opt out of whatever they choose.

No one in this conversation is disagreeing with that, just acknowledging whatever choice they make comes with costs.

Let's say I choose to blow $1000 on girl scout cookies instead of a plane ticket to Maui. I don't get to march up to the Delta counter and demand they give me a plane ticket, anyway. Delta isn't persecuting me, I made a bad decision. I can blame everyone else for my predicament- or I can take responsibility for my actions.

No one is FORCING anyone to do anything, that is the point, They must NEVER be allowed to FORCE you to do something you dont believe in. BUT YOU cannot FORCE them either to let you endanger them. they have the right to protect themselves from YOU.

Its like a community where everyone puts their horses and cattle into a corral at night and keeping the gate closed to keep the wolves out, but one person chosing to leave the gate open because they dont believe the wolves will come or they like their cattle to roam. They may come, they may not come, but the majority wish to be safe and keep the gate closed. So you cannot force the majority to leave the gate open because you dont like it.

Group of Anti Vaccers in Holland got a reality check today, First of all the Hall they booked for their rally FAIRLY refused to let em in, esp as they were also unmasked, Then the coach drivers who were supposed to transport them to a rally refused to transport them because the DRIVERs have the right to not be put at risk by the Anti Vaccers.

I heard on the radio coming home from work, that with the US being one of the richest nations of the world we need to be one of the first that give up meat and start eating the fake stuff. . . I dont think so.

That's what Mr. Gates is proposing. He can eat soy and bug protein. Wouldn't bother me a bit. The problem is, you know the elites will eat real meat and let the peons eat beyond meat.
Funny though, I see it in the grocery store all the time, and it's the one section that is never touched. No one here wants to eat it. Hopefully capitalism will solve this problem, but if that's all that is available....

Hopefully capitalism will solve this problem, but if that's all that is available....

Surely not. Meat & dairy is subsidized through the nose- it's a big reason why organic/grass fed is so comparatively expensive, their costs aren't being defrayed by Uncle Sam.

If Bill Gates and other elites wanted to price meat beyond the reach of the average consumer, the first thing they'd do is call on free-market capitalism.

Here is another reason Gates is buying up land - to cut down the trees and bury them in order to sequester carbon! This is insane! He plans to cut down 70 MILLION acres of trees!

More deforestation means more CO2, more tornadoes, more storms and even more drought. People will then cry out for tougher Co2 measures and demand more green economy, so Gates and Schwab can realize their goals.

My advice, bury Bill Gates so that nobody can find him.

BEST NEWS I’VE READ SINCE 2020!!!

The Era of Informed Consent is Over

by Victor Dalziel | Brownstone Institute

In a significant blow to patient autonomy, informed consent has been quietly revoked just 77 years after it was codified in the Nuremberg Code.

On the 21st of December 2023, as we were frantically preparing for the festive season, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a final ruling to amend a provision of the 21st Century Cures Act. This allowed

an exception from the requirement to obtain informed consent when a clinical investigation poses no more than a minimal risk to the human subject…
This ruling went into effect on January 22nd, 2024, which means it’s already standard practice across America…”

Make certain you UNDERSTAND this new “ruling”.

According to this amendment, the state alone, acting through the NIH, the FDA, and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), will decide what is considered a “minimal risk” and, most concerning, will determine:

…appropriate safeguards to protect the rights, safety, and welfare of human subjects.
Notice the term subjects, not patients, persons, individuals, or citizens…but subjects. In asymmetrical power relationships such as clinician/patient, it is understood that the passive subject will comply with the rulings and mandates of their medical masters. The use of the term subjects also serves to dehumanise. The dehumanisation of populations was a critical component of Nazi human experimentation and, as Hannah Arendt argued, is an essential step toward denying citizens “…the right to have rights.”

This ruling also allows researchers and their misguided evangelical billionaire backers to potentially pursue dangerous experimental programs such as Bill Gates’ mosquito vaccines, mRNA vaccines in livestock, and vaccines in aerosols. This Act encourages these novel and high-risk programs, with medical studies approved as ‘minimal risk’ by the regulators no longer requiring researchers and pharmaceutical companies to obtain patient consent. Yet, the histories of pharmacology and medicine are plagued with clinical investigations and interventions that were thought to pose no more than minimal risk to humans but went on to cause immeasurable pain, suffering, and death.

Sec 3024…
