So.... Got the Woods deck and put it through the motions. Picture one is a single pass through 3-4 inch saplings and heavy brush. Obliviated it! Second and third pics just showing it off. Do glad I got chains on it and the extreme heavy duty model. Then fourth I had the hydraulic top link mounted but have to wait till next week for the hydraulic side link. They had the wrong in stock. I'm really loving this set up. Oh........the quick Hitch. Almost forgot. Maybe the most convenient piece of all! Just back in and back out. Two levers you've changed implement. Brilliant piece!

Damn. You've had troubles? I hope they fix it. My first Mahindra had multiple problems from 3 months to 7 months. While front end got replaced eventually. Part of it was poor shop work too that caused other breakage do I don't put the whole issue on the tractor. Lucky I'm friends with the owner so he really took care of me especially on this one. Damn. I hope they get you fixed. That's so irritating when you spend that much money and it breaks.....

Sorry you got a lemon but glad you seem to have it resolved now. Is it ironic that New Holland even uses some of the LS tractors to relabel and call their own?

@Dutchs This is a brand new tractor. They traded tractors because so much happened with the other one. Mostly they have horrible mechanics who do crap work and destroy tractors. It went to two different shops. Came home and continued finding more bolts missing, drive line fell apart (roll pin came out and cut the housing in half) due to not checking it (even though I specifically drove 3 hours each way to make sure they checked it) and much more. Lots of paint damage. Just crap work and lack of care.
Sadly they didn’t have any of the same tractor so we now have a different one. This one has far more electronics and the tier 4 junk.
It’s a similar tractor but slightly less HP and completely different look.

Thanks. So are we. It’s been such a bad experience we both wish we had never bought it.
If they had good mechanics/shops it would have never had even been a big deal. It started out as two bearing bad inside. Turned into a lot of man made damage and then missing parts and pieces.
Part of why we didn’t buy a new holland. Paying a lot more for the name.

Most folks around here do their own repairs or "know a guy". LOL I'm somewhere in the middle as I know a guy who can fix anything I screw up. LOL He could keep you entertained all day with stories of vehicles people bring him from other mechanics which were cheaply repaired. It not that John has never had a customer vehicle break after he fixed it but normally it is because after he tried to tell them, how to do it right, the repair would cost much more and they decided to take their chances. Somewhere in his shop he has a sign that reads "I told you so". ;D
Let's hope this new tractor works as well and last as long as my Kubota has for me. 15 Years old and I had to replace the battery last summer. Oh, the pain, the pain! LOL :)

The ONLY reason this tractor left for diagnosis/repair was because it was under warranty. After all! Isn’t why we get a warranty!!?!!
My husband is a mechanic (which made the whole thing so much worse for us) and when asked after the last man made (one of their mechanics) broken part where we wanted to send it I told them to send the parts. No one but my husband and one friend who makes a living working on tractors will EVER be touching it again. Warranty or not.
I love my uncles Kubota. Spent a LOT of time disking our hay fields on it. Really great tractor.

I feel you all's pain. My shop fixed my original front tire problem but then on the left side my fuel filter got destroyed by the tire. Then the right tire fell off and they fixed it. But then the oil fion the right side got crushed by the tire. They couldn't figure out why. So...I..... figured out they had left the turn stops out and the steering had no limitations. They hadn't sent back the old parts yet and voila there they were. I put them back in and it fixed it. Except! They didn't locktite the right side and the steering arms fell out. Once they replaced all if it. Yes that ended up being the entire front end. I never had another problem. BUT! I never trusted that tractor again. And thank God I traded it. They say it won't start now.!?! Can you say LEMON? Hey. Things happen. I get it. But there is no excuse for such terrible quality control of the people that work for you. The people that work for me are that bad? As TRUMP says...... YOU'RE FIRED! Im friends with the owner and do know a few did get fired over my tractor. I hate for anyone to lose their job but you gotta do it right to keep it.

:thumbs up: I figured there had to be a reason you (he) didn't do something as simple as bearings yourself, so yes warrantee should mean they fix it. Odd how that works, or doesn't work.

And yes. I do as much of my own work now as possible. With all the electronics it's impossible without a ten thousand dollar computer so I do all the mechanical stuff.

Mine was all warranty. But they initially tried to charge me to haul it to the shop and back. I called Mahindra corporate and put a stop to that.

@Double R glad you resolved the issue finally and have a new tractor that works and yes repair workmanship is questionable in a lot of places unfortunately.

Thank you. We hope it’s all over.

Holy cow. Well I guess we didn’t experience something uncommon. What a shock and a shame.

These bearings were in the middle of the tractor. Not to mention it was a noise no one had heard of yet. They literally had no idea what could be causing the noise until it was completely ripped apart. We really don’t have the equipment to rip apart a giant tractors rear end here.

Ya that’s the biggest issue with the new tractor.

Very dissapointed today. Got my new implement all hooked up ready to go. The hydraulic hoses were all wrapped up and I unrolled them and got it all set. The couplers are different then on my third function on the tractor. Gonna have to change fittings and won't be able to get them until next week. Something I just didn't think to check. Danggit.....

Do you have another attachment you can borrow them off of til next week?

Maybe. My root rake has the right ones. I might try that..... I really like the ones on the Intimidator. Very heavy duty. Might just change the ones on tractor. Can't get them till next week though.

That looks like money well spent. The video shows a 100 hp tractor. Is that about what is needed to do the work?

I dont think so. 100 horsepower makes the equipment look really good but I've seen it on skid steers with much less horsepower and it rated much lower than 100. Mine is 75 and will do the work just fine. You may have to do a little more twisting, pulling and cutting but the implement is made to do that. It's made to dig really well too so that will get everything done. I'll do a video in a few weeks when I get it all together.

I would appreciate that. I see the value of this tool on some land we are negotiating right now.
My pleasure. I had hoped to this weekend but myself and my salesman neglected to notice it had different couplers on it than my tractor. No biggie to change just that I can't get them till next week. I'm going with the ones on the Intimidator and changing the Tractors. They are much more heavy duty on the Intimidator.
