Ha. Haha. I saw one ticket for $10,000. Ten Grand. At a casino in Oklahoma they do start in the high one hundreds.

Those were resale tickets on the high price. Checked a few other places and $200 range and up is average for Nicks in concert.

$200.00 is about what I would expect, but even that is the upper limit for me. $8,000 I wouldn't pay the the second coming. We have some friends (our age), and the husband is a former musician. We talk rock-n-role for hours. He has a refrigerator magnet that says "I may be old, but I got to see all the great bands." ;)

Stevies not touring here. Tickets have gone up but I think are cheaper compared to many other places. Apart from the additions Ticketmaster stick on, but I'll save that for the rant section!
Presuming just the ordinary cheap seats or standing - here are a few popular or older bands on sale at the minute
Ac/DC at €85 (about American $91) - they are also playing in Wembley, London, and the tickets are over £300  (about 3 times the price of ours)
Lucinda Williams €65
Paul Young €46
The Stranglers €50

For a day at electric picnic, which is a weekend festival its €80 - the weekend is about €300 but I think that includes camping, 100s of stalls and a ton of bands. Chances are you wouldn't see them all.

In my old age I have gotten to be a big baby. I really don't like the big crowds at big venues. That ship sailed a long time ago. I like smaller venues that are more intimate and far less crowded. One of my favorites was seeing Buddy Guy. It was basically a bar, and he walks through the crowd. I was as close to him as I am to this computer right now. Fantastic show. Saw Justin Johnson much the same way.
