Good one I dedicated Simple Man to my son when he came back from Iraqi war. He said he knew it was from me when he was walking off the ship. You could call in request for song to loved one, mine was one that got selected. I told him almost all his life this was our song. He is almost into his 5th decade now.

Yep. I toured from '82 through '89. First daughter was born in '89 so that brought an end to being on the road all the time. But I did see a few more shows; 2 stadium shows in the summer of '90 and another in the summer of '91. I got off the bus after that one. The touring bus that is. Once a Deadhead, always a Deadhead.
