It was 30°F when I woke up last night & had to go to the bathroom. Then it was 29° when I woke up in the morning when the sun came up. It's around 33° now. At least the cats are keeping me warm. My friend actually brought the kittens at his house in last night since he was worried they would freeze.

30 degrees on my porch, a little breezy. A little snow left on tree limbs this morning... roads were clear. A little snow on thick leaves or vegetation in the woods.

Brisk and cold
At the thermostat in the dining room it's 69*F.
4 steps from the thermostat into living room it's 66*F.
4 more steps to the right into my bedroom is 56*F.
6 steps from bedroom door to bathroom it's a whopping 49-52*F.
So brisk and cold works.
Outside it's 30*F with wind chill makes it feel like 26*F.

It got up to maybe 45°. Supposed to be cold again tonight and then warmer the next few days.
I don't have a way to measure the different temperatures in different rooms. It's warm in mom's room and the living room. Semi-warm in the front room. Cool in the kitchen and hallway. Cold in my room & my brother's room. Our oldest cat ran in to Mom's room and sat directly under the vent that blows warm air.

The dusting of snow we expected turned into 9 inches, got off work at 3PM and shoveled till dark. The driveway and walkways are clear and salted. My old car tent caved in, it was holding salt and the snow blower, will have to dig it out as soon as thing clear up. The rest of the week we are expecting lows in the teens and highs in the low 30s.

The wife was very confused because the power went off for some things but stayed on for things like the oxygen concentrator, the internet, and my work computer. I was on a video conference call when the power went off all the lights went off but my connection on the call remained in tact, I did have someone ask me, "did your lights just go off?"

Oops, a little more than bargained for!

My husband's oxygenator goes off when the power goes off and we switch to green tanks. But his Cpap is hooked up to an inverter and a millertech battery, so he sleeps well. But now we have the big generator, but the power hasn't gone off since it's been put in.
It is only a low of 30 tonight, which is wonderful. Very tired of deicing animal water. High of 48 today. Not bad. But it's going to get bad again later in the week.

(Off topic: the oxygen concentrator my husband used had a battery back-up, doesn't your wife's, @UrbanHunter ?) What a relief it stayed on for her when power went out.
It is 44° and a dark night but clear.
For in-home oxygen there are typically 4 delivery methods, Liquid Oxygen that is filled from a truck and evaporated to supply the pressurized oxygen, tanks (large or small) for compressed oxygen, compressor type constant flow oxygen concentrators that can supply oxygen and fill small bottles, and pulsator oxygen concentrators that are portable and battery powered but most do not work with a CPAP machine.

We have a large(ish) tank that is good for up to 24 hours, and compressor type, and a portable. The compressor type draws a constant 500 watts and it is our primary supply using a 50' hose, it is on it's own circuit with an inverter/charger with sufficient batteries for 8 hours and it is placed in the center of the house so the wife can go anywhere on the main floor. We use the portable if we need to leave the house but it's battery is only good for about 3 hours....

We are getting our first taste of Winter. Temps are close to or below freezing. As the week progresses it is expected to get colder with Thursday in single digits. No white stuff yet. We missed most of the freezing rain predicted last weekend. We got the rain, but it didn't freeze. Supposed to be dry the rest of the week and rain on the weekend.

Got down to 24° last night. I was buried under a pile of dogs, cats, and blankets. It's up to 32° and I'm hoping it will warm up enough for me to go to the store. Need some groceries and to pick up medicine for mom.

I set up power backups (the kind to keep computers on) to power the main phone, the modem/router, & mom's CPAP (as well as the computers). That way if our power goes off we can still make phone calls & use the internet to alert people.

30's today, 40's tomorrow and then snow thursday night into friday morning. Right now they're saying 3-6 inches. We'll see. It could change day to day and may just wobble enough we get nothing. Have to wait and see.
Side note: where the deepest snow is expected is where the Monongahela National forest is located ( alot of people don't know we have a national forest here in WV)

I would have shared the freezing rain with you if you had missed it that much.

Thanks for keeping it, MO. I don't mind the wet but the solid stuff scares me. We were lucky. We got a considerable amount of rain, but temps were high enough it did not freeze. Rain had stopped when the temps really dropped. Cold now and even colder coming end of week. You probably have that now.

Yes, I do. Yeah me.

I don't know where the supposed 50's are. It's 30 still with high winds.
Weatherman must of been smoking something
I don't know about 50's but the high today here was supposed to be 41*F.
But my weatherman is smoking whatever yours was.
And it's supposely 37*F here but feels like 29*F with wind chill.

kind of cold, minus28C , but still, not so bad to be out side, but machines are kind of not liking it, finding all of my weak batteries, that would be most of them, I might buy a couple. it it stays cold until I have to go some where.

It was 32° when I left the house to go to the grocery store. Warmed up to about 40° by the time I got home. I took a nap until afternoon and it warmed to about 50°. I was busy cleaning so even when I was outside in that temp I was sweating.
