They just extended our nado watch until 5am, crap! I was hoping to go to bed early.
The big storm has slowed, about 20min away.

Thanks for the update, glad all is well!!Just got home a bit ago. No mishaps just a really long drive. Stopped to have breakfast with my BIL and SIL.
Lowest temps were -14F.
Called my FIL, they are now drifted in - snow + winds in MT can be crazy. Glad we left when we did.
We are in for this kind of cold again Thursday night!!It is 25 now, heard some freezy precipitation a minute ago.
Did you get snow? We missed it, looks like it redeveloped over your way!Not supposed to be freezing here until 5:00AM. But I am not going outside either
The flooding looked extreme too! Glad ya'll are ok! It's not even spring!Tornados touched down in downtown Hopkinsville , KY , late Saturday, which is 30 minutes SE of me .
Lots of damage and injuries, but no fatalities yet.
West KY has definitely become the new tornado alley.

That's supposed to hit here later this afternoon and bring us up close to freezing temp. More snow on the docket.Hoping you guys in the south are ok, it is minus 2, 28 F , the Chinook wind howled all night 30 - 50 mph, i would estimate, seems to have calmed down now, hoping it stays just under freezing to day,
I knew there are 2 more from this great state besides Pearl and Patch. At one time, on another site, I knew someone lived near me kinda south of Waco, but life happens and I forgot. Are there 5 Texans on here that are feeling the chill?Freezing our behinds off in east Texas !!!
Thanks Patch. Name on tip of my tongue!@Dani for one, @txcatlady . I’m drawing a blank. There was a guy west of us and a rabbit guy east of us. They haven’t posted much.

I can handle the cold because I do have all the right clothes! Just don't have to use them much! I hate it for the animals when it's been in the 80's and then 15°, they don't have the right clothes!!Old Scandinavian saying, "There is no bad weather, only bad clothes."
What kind of animals do you have that cannot survive 15ºF? Even today, at subzero temps, there are cattle, horses, goats, sheep, hogs, etc outdoors in MN...they may have loafing sheds, but the sheds are certainly not heated.I can handle the cold because I do have all the right clothes! My wife's mare is a Floridian. They've been in 80° weather so they don't have winter coats. They aren't "dressed" for 15°.
