Upper 80 low 90s here all week. Humindity is high. Might get a small cool down next week. We only got about .75" rain out of Florence. And that's been it for 2-3 weeks now. It's getting very dry here after a wet summer.

I am ready for 70 at most for high's. 50's would be better. I get tired so quick in the heat I can't get enough done in a given time. late 50's ain't helpin either.

It is a deafening sound at times, well, it was back east. I like hearing crickets in the fall, until it gets so bad that it has become a ringing in my ears.
There's a kind of frog that makes a noise reminds us of an old man chuckling, HEH HEH HEH. I think it's a tree frog. Good weather, lots of bugs.
I like what @GrannyG posted about the weather.

I loved sitting under the oak or pecan trees in south, almost central Tx listening to them. It was so relaxing it would put me to sleep.

Still hot and humid and breaking records for hottest summer on record. Or thats what I hear anyway.

CORRECTION! Hottest September on record, not summer.

We've got 74 degrees and about 66% humidity and sometimes down in the 40's at night, been having a little rain that's taken the edge off the fire danger. We pray for rain and snow in the mountains around us, it'll be our water for next year, we didn't get much last year and with the forest fire we had around here in 2013 we are fortunate to have the spring overflow we still have, especially since they logged the hell out of some of the mountains above us, beyond what damage the fires did. Thankfully they left portions of the forest above us that are our water shed otherwise we might have to rework our well which is shallow and full of organic iron, when first pumped it comes out looking like blood, not good.

Rainy, friend emptied rain gauge yesterday had 4 inches.
Got another 4 inches last night.
Probably got another 4 inches today.
Rain not suppose to stop till late Thursday.
But start right back up on Friday.
Lest barometric pressure has dropped.
73% humidity high today was 83*.

Still in the upper 80's daytime and 70's at night. Wednesday they are calling for 83 for high and 55 for low. I hope so but not holding my breath. We shall see.
