Rolling my eyes over that, @Supervisor42 !! looks like it's going north to me, what, then it hooks a mean right to head for you?! I didn't get hit much at all here, lots of hollering but all is well for now.

Overheard guys at the tire place talking about storms tomorrow. Watched the weather forecast. They expect thunderstorms, hail, tornadoes, etc. Fun times. Schools in my parish are shutting down. The crud will be in the path on my way to my dental appointment so I'll have to reschedule again. Hoping we won't lose power. We already lost our landline several days ago.
It was beautiful yesterday, snowing today.... Somebody started a rumor that spring was here, I think they made it up.

Tomorrow will be "cooler", high of 60.
Please be watchful, southern friends, as the storms roll through the next couple of days. I don't expect things to get much easier sometimes. It is a good feeling to know we can count on each other to touch base and that we are watching out for one another.

Long enough to cut cuttings off 4 plants, prep them, plant them, get them in the greenhouse and see hubby off to work

Wind gusts to 37mph. The 'line' won't pass over us for another hour but it is getting skinnyer.
The gas we poured into it from the gulf isn't lighting off until it gets up north; surprise Mississippi!
Where is the large hail we were promised yesterday?

Just watching the clouds. The weather man still says the worst storms will pass south of me. The air doesn't feel that way, sun is out now and pumping more heat into the storms. I'm afraid it's going to get very bad here.

Lots of loud thunder (lightening was all cloud-to-cloud that we prefer), poured .75" of rain in a little over an hour.
The TWC chick clocked a gust at 43mph in Lafayette (we feel important!
)And then it was gone.
Temperature dropped 6 degrees in one hour.
No hail
.All of the clouds are moving fast from the west instead of the south.
I did see shipping labels on them that said: "Ship to Alabama, Next Day Air"

Gee thanks @Supervisor42 The storm is literally at the Alabama/Mississippi state line. Looks like I'm going to lose internet and tv for an hour or so tonight... I'll check in later if I can.
