I’ll deal with the heat if it’s a happy place Plus y’all have more than just 1 darn season of weather!

I went the back roads to the locker today to give our cut n wrap report and remembered happier days. Windows down on the truck, music playing (no excessive bass!!!!) and just driving the back country roads. Roads most city folk don’t know to take. I found some happiness. It was wonderful. Sadly no one gave a wave back. That’s not unusual anymore. Even the farmers tend to not wave back.

There are a lot of people moving to our area so there are not many waves here like there used to be! All the old regulars still wave! It's sad to see so much change!

For the next 5 days we are expecting temperatures between 20F (lows) and 50F (high), today it is 45F, the wind is blowing/gusting to 30+ MPH, and we are having on/off rains. It is hard to do much outside with the wind.

High of 77 degrees today. This is the warmest it has been this year. First time outside without a jacket or coat this year, 2022.

The forecast is for 10" of new snow during the middle of the week. This morning it is rather chilly. I think we'll have to move to Alaska where it is warm.
