Yeah it’s supposed to hit 110 here this week. I’m seriously considering moving to a bit cooler area. Where the seasons last about the same amount time instead of a 6 month summer.

got to 82 today with a dewpoint of 73. Started raining looks like we may get half an inch or so. Then 90s for the rest of the week.

Every dang day for the last 2 weeks.
If we go to do something outside, here it comes.

My daughter experienced it feeling like her face was being burnt off, just being outside today. Right now it is cloudy, the sky has looked off-white for days, and you can see clouds against it. Like science fiction. The squirrels almost don't care if the dog runs out to get them. They just lie in the dirt around the tree trunks. Not much in the way of weeds or grass growing in the back yard. 109* right now. Raise your hand if you thought summer was a time to get outside and garden, have fun, go hiking.

Acclimate first for 2 weeks, 1/2 hour outside each day.
Bring 144 ounces of ice-cold drinking fluid with you.

Learn to pee a lot.
Liquid cooled = cold liquid in, hot liquid out.

Another triple-digit scorcher here, but not as hot as some areas of the country... with luck, we get rain tomorrow.

Patchouli that sounds horrible. Hope it breaks soon! It's still brown and crunchy here, we're way behind on rain. Hit 92 today. Clouds came through and we got about 17 rain drops and it quit. I've been out there watering the garden and the flowers every day trying to save them but wow they dry out again so quickly. My yard looks horrible, dead brown grass with those stupid spiky weeds sticking up. Started to mow them down but the mower deck belt broke and it's been too hot to fuss with putting a new one on.
