The rain finally stopped and the sun came out. It's a nice 77 degrees now but a mite humid. It turns out I will need to cut the grass tomorrow. :/

Yesterday's total is in... 4.92 inches. There has been several lite rains today <5 min. Just enough to keep everything soaked, water standing on the roads.

But the big rains today have been south of me. Basically from tusc to the gulf coast.

I'm still under the same rain threat for the next 24hrs. Then the chance of rain drops to 30%.

Darn, it'll be saturday before its dry enough for me to skid those logs out. Lets see, what can I get into during this down time...

3 inches of rain so far these past two days. My tree service friend lives 3 towns over and had 7 inches in three hours this afternoon. May add a little more before it ends.
Is he studying to become a Cajun? :dunno:

Thought it was supposed to clear up today but I think this is manufactured weather (seed clouds) that they don’t know how to control. Went to lunch, roads were fine, very humid, a little drizzle. Then rain, heading back to work the roads weren’t the greatest. Just been raining off and on all day.

Rained a bit earlier... dunno if we have more in store for this evening. Can't be bothered to check the forecast... my roof doesn't leak, so "Fuhgeddaboutit!!!" ;)

P.S. Noticed more friggin' goathead vines sprouting after the recent rains... it'll be 'Flamethrower City' just as soon as the ground dries, lol. I reckon I'm cursed with those blasted goatheads!!!

Yeah, I was in the pool enjoying some nice beer when a pretty good shower came along!!😮 My sunglasses got all spotty!!😎

That is my concern as well, reason I let a lot of the garden dry up. Hoping you score some more rain Friday.

Same here, the only watering my garden has been getting is the water out of my dehumidifier in the cellar. I hope you get more rain too!

Well, the party ended today for us. :(
Our daily rain for today: .91".
That makes a solid week with rain every day.
The grass is getting tall and we can't mow because the lawn is always 'slurpy'.gaah
Edit: Umm, you can update that to 2.48" 2.65".We are being greedy again :(.

I know this will come as a surprise-- but more thunderstorms. :p
I was about to go into town to pick up Mom's RX when the lightning and thunders started. So I told her "rain check" on that. She has a week left of meds so I can get them either tomorrow or Monday.

I got 7.28 inches of rain this week, pretty much a soggy mess outside. I was doing some slipping/sliding with the tractor yesterday even though I'd gotten a couple days of sun.

Still a 40% chance of rain through wednesday then we're supposed to get some baking heat, all sun.
