No not that much, but with sandy soil it flow though & filled the ponds & water table.

Tropical storm Nicolas! Probably not getting rain from it in my part of TX, but maybe cooler temps for a couple of days!
Upper 80s this week
4.18" of rain today.
Winds in the 20-ish range today, but it is Cold!
Temps never got above 74° (brrr!).

A cool front is expected to move across the area Friday night with developing rain showers along with breezy winds into Saturday. With increasing confidence some locations could receive over a quarter inch of rain especially in the area mountains. Any outdoor festivities should keep aware of the possible changing weather conditions as the weekend nears including any updates to the weather forecast.

I woke up to flash flood warnings for several counties. Getting heavy rain bands right now...
Went back and checked, I got my first rain off Nicholas Monday afternoon. This is day 6 of the rain but I did get some sun for a little while yesterday. Weatherman says its supposed to rain until Tuesday.

It rained all day yesterday, but it is dry out today.
I took this screen save a few minutes ago... Hurricane Nicholas came ashore last monday. And on the 6th day... It's still raining. 5 states that I know about are getting soaked today.
Nickolas is like that friend that needs to crash on your couch for a couple days but is still there a month later!

My thoughts exactly! We are at 9" rain from it so far. Still supposed to rain the next 3 days from it's bands.
Not going anywhere fast!
Made it to 101° today in N Tx! Cold front tonight, 80° tomorrow! 90's by the weekend.

Shiver me timbers. I'm glad it's cloudy. Wish we could get some rain here.

Yesterday the sun came out twice for a while each time. Still rained and rained some more the rest of the time.
This morning was rain then sun, then rain, then sun, then rain.... This afternoon was all sun, temp hit 94 at the bank.

Mid 70s today. Dumped .59" of rain this morning
And on the 9th day... it rained. This weather pattern reminds me of a monsoon season, never seen this kind of rain here.

It has been a cool day. High of 66 degrees. Weather app is saying low of 39!!! That must be the prediction overnight. I did see that there was snow in the Rockies in the last couple days. It is always cooler on the Front Range when there is snow in the mountains.
I wanted to go to the hardware store and get a new cover for my swamp cooler and duct tape for new foil insulation today, but couldn't get it done mid day, and didn't want to deal with traffic later. I've stuffed the cooler with foam that I use every year. I hope I can get to the hardware store tomorrow to get the replacement cover.
I just closed up the two outflow windows that have been open all summer. One has a fan that blows out air all summer, while the cooler brings in air with the turbine fan.

Texas cold front alert!! 101° yesterday, 86° today! I'd be ok with that all winter!
It was 38° this morning. Currently 60°.
