yes its 4wd but it doesn't start when it's really cold out ( we got a lemon....)
So that would be exactly what would happen to us. I think the truck is more reliable, and also 4wd plus we have chains for it ( somewhere....they still have to be located)

Just be aware that a plow mounted on a pickup truck is hard on the front end suspension and steering components. It doesn't sound like you'd be using it all winter so it should be fine. They also make some light duty plows that are fine for the occasional plow job.

It is STILL blowing here in NW AZ. Mid 20's - mid 30's with gusts to 40/50's - hasn't stopped since the day the LA fires started. Must be two weeks now. Supposed to finally drop tonight for a few days, then another round.

hit 42f today...winds steady 10-15mph with gusts hitting 26mph...feel like it air from far north...but of course it still ice here on half or more of the ground...bare sections is mud in sun...lol....barsoom be weird !

I'm pretty sure it is!! Hubby came home a bit ago and said they are brining the roads already ahead of next week's chance of snow! That never works so I guess they might as well go ahead and be stupid early!!

...January Thaw...
It appears today and tomorrow will be our annual ..January Thaw.. Light south breeze, bright, sunny, average barometer, 33/10F temps.. The weekend to bring back sub zero again.. Lake ice is thick enough for walk on ice fishing and fish houses.. Not all ice is thick enough to drive on as a couple cars have gone through.. One was a pizza delivery guy delivering to the ice house on the lake.. Crazy ..bush savages.. up here..

Out today to run errands.. Grocery shop.. Stuff to fix an office chair.. McDonalds coffee.. Senior discount lunch at the pizza, fried chicken place.. Will get out to check the thrift stores for ..treasures.. tomorrow before they send a get well card..

Made it to 60 today, low tonight 30. 60 again tomorrow. Rain late tomorrow night early saturday, cooler but still mild. Then the temps fall off a cliff. Highs in the 20's by monday.
