Wow. That indoor temp is too hot for my taste. My indoor temp right now at my desk is 71 degrees and I like it. Of course, I am wearing a sweater. I always want my temp cool enough for me to wear a sweater.

Husband is always cold. He'll have me turn up the thermostat to 73 and still use a heated blanket. It gets downright hot in our bedroom, I'll sleep with no blankets.

We let the wood stove go out today since we both had to work. It's 71° in the den and kitchen, 61° in the rest of the house! Nice!! The fire is going now!!

We got over a foot of snow when I lived in Virginia Beach. That place was a mess!!! I had fun with it. Lived near military circle mall. Drove over and did donuts in the parking lot for a while, no one was there. Happened to notice yellow flashing lights behind me, it was a security guard chasing me!!! Didn't even know he was back there... but I lost him in two trips around the mall then went home before he called the real cops.

Just cold here, down in the teens tonight. They've moved the warming trend back a day til thursday. So I guess I'll have another chilly day.

OK, you're not the only couple that is thermostatically challenged. My wife would throw open the windows when it's in the single digits if I let her. I'm more of a lizard who likes a hot environment. I've had 30-something blissful g**d*mn years of arguing with this ice creature from Hoth....

Anything over 70 is usually too warm for me-- which is weird because I spent almost a decade on tropical islands. I actually don't mind the snow and cold so much (since it is so infrequent). Good weather to bundle up and cuddle with the cats. They are piled on me right now. My friend's 4-yr-old looked out the window and screamed "IT'S CHRISTMAS!" (well, as close as that kid can get to pronouncing Christmas). Friend found that the furnace for his air handler does work and he's got a big wood burning stove that he put firewood in so he's staying warm. I got him some fleece-lined pants earlier and got a huge plush blanket for him and his wife.

My friend north of Anchorage reports 32F, calm, sunny for a couple days now..

Grumble... for the first time in a couple of winters I had to turn on more than 1 brick in my lp space heater today. Darn weather is costing me money!!!!

The advantages of a house partially built into a hillside, tends to be temperature stable, winter or summer.
