Got my outdoors work that's mandatory done. Tired as hell so going to watch the final round of the PGA golf tournament....
Worked most of the day.
Then once home, I got the flash lights and the generator ready for the bad weather we are expected to get tomorrow.

I'm sitting here watching the news and we have a huge wall cloud just north of Oklahoma City and it has dropped 7 tornados so far in the past 15 minutes. It's amazing to see them form from the helicopters . We are under tornado watch and some warnings until 1am.
Relaxing after 2 days of Civic Duty...
Monday: Jury Duty at the Montgomery County Court House, Norristown, PA
Tuesday: Worked the Primary Voting Polls in Ardsley, PA as Deputy Constable from 7am to 8pm...then to the VFW for the grub & beer party afterwards.

What am I doing today? Wasting energy.
It's 92 degrees outside, the A/C is running, and my window is open so the cat can hear the birds chirping outside. It's like 'TV' for cats.
She's also like me and loves "warm":
Am I wasting money? Nope.
I pinched pennies for decades putting every spare dollar into investments so I wouldn't have to worry about money in retirement.
It worked.
(if course, you can tell she's a Democ(r)at by the 'Pelosi' stare)

Drove around my Ward this afternoon to retrieve all the Republican candidate voting signs...and delivered them to the VFW for pickup...then stopped in and had a few beers with da guys.

Putting in some veggies, since I 'think' were past the frost point, I like fresh veggies.
Cleaned up the property and trimmed the foliage...
Hosed off the Jeep and shined the rims...
Cleaned off the deck and sat down for a cup of coffee...
Then ate lunch.

Had breakfast, mowed my field and drive. Mulched a bunch of trees. Watered in hopes of not losing anything to this blistering heat. High of 98 today. Took some pictures with my new zoom lens. Had dinner took a shower now chilling. Going to have a bumper crop of elderberries this year....
Looking forward to a neighbor down the road's picnic today...starting at 1300.

Walked 3 miles with the family. Just to get some fresh air and the heat. Now we're just having a lazy Sunday in the house. We should clean but too damn lazy!
Spent the morning cleaning up tree debris after the high winds and torrential downpours of last night...
After I hose off the Jeep...I'll sit on the deck and have lunch.
