Milk right now. It's morning. Otherwise I'd be joining the beer drinkers - after the last feeding time for the goats.
Me too!! Good well water!!Ice water
Sounds good to me. I'll have to look for some next time we go shopping.I went to pick up some 7up Zero today and they had a new flavor "7up Shirly Temple". But the can said it was 7up mixed with pomegranate and cherry flavoring. What the expletive!? Maybe I am missing something but a shirl temple is 7up, ginger ale, grenadine and cherries. No disgusting pomegranate crap.

Right now I'm taking a break and drinking a Shasta Black Cherry soda.
I can't drink beer like I used to. Really fills me up and makes me feel bloated. So, come football Saturday, I've been trying out different cocktails.
Last Saturday, it was a Boulevardier. (Tonight I got a bunch of videos about it suggested to me by YouTube, which is what made me think about it again tonight--time to clear out my cookies.)
The Boulevardier is basically a Negroni, but you swap out the gin in favor of bourbon:
I gotta say, I might have a favorite new cocktail...at least until I find another one!
- 1 1/4 oz. bourbon (mine was Maker's Mark)
- 1 oz. sweet/Italian vermouth
- 1 oz. Campari (but I used Aperol...it is slightly less bitter...and I didn't have any Campari, so I had to improvise )
Not exactly a traditional football watching drink, but boy did those Boulevardiers taste great and go down easy.
Just seeing this. I would like that. I will need to look around and see where I can find it sugar free or regular. A number of years ago Ginger Ale came with a cranberry flavoring. It was only around for a little while. I think I bought it for a holiday meal and then it was impossible to find again.I went to pick up some 7up Zero today and they had a new flavor "7up Shirly Temple". We had a salad at Thanksgiving that was mixed greens, a homemade dressing that was delicious, pomegranate seeds and toasted pine nuts. It was so delicious.Grenadine was originally made from pomegranate. So, I assume that is where 7up got the idea for pomegranate flavoring.
My wife serves pomegranate as a fruit sometimes at dinners. I'd never had it until marrying her. I think it's pretty good. She cleans out all the pulp, leaving only the juicy seeds thingies...which I just looked up, and are apparently called "arils." Looks like this when served:
If I am drinking soda, which is actually fairly rare for me, it is usually Canada Dry Ginger ale.Tonight with dinner I popped open a can of Canada Dry Ginger ale with a splash of cherry juice.
Thanks for the reminder. I need to add eggnog to our shopping list. Haven't had any in years. If I am drinking soda, which is actually fairly rare for me, it is usually Canada Dry Ginger ale.
Sipping on some egg nog.
Last week I ordered some blackberry Ginger Ale online. I think it came from Canada, the label was in 2 languages. It was pretty good.Just seeing this. I would like that.
