"Hunger is the best sauce!" ;)

I ate a Ham & Swiss sandwich left over from my ride the other day, plus I had some yogurt for dessert... milk to wash everything down. Now it's time to go read RED CLARK RIDES ALONE, by Gordon Young. The synopsis on the back cover sure sounds better than the last book I read! And this is the 'Red Clark' Western where he cleans up a town full o' bad men near Tahzo, so I reckon it's a "normal" Red Clark story, lol. :cool:

Y'all have a good night, I'm back to the crazy saga of Red Clark, he is one funny character! And everything a cowboy should be! Gotta love Red's way of handling problems, lol... :oops:

I attempted a béchamel sauce from scratch by modifying some recipes I found online- along with cheese stuffed tortolini from samsclub. Both cooked on the induction cooker because we can't use microwave or air fryer. Sauce came out too bland, but some parmesan cheese helped. I couldn't eat much last night-- much to my dog's delight, but I finished it off this morning.

@Magpie what is the poly?
So sorry, was working on my essay late and didn't see this. It's my Polytunnel, and @dademoss :clapping: dinner today is shin beef in the slow cooker as we are going to a friend's 50th tonight. Everything in the one pot and everyone washes their own bowl. Tomorrow I've a mince pie made, daughter going back to college and its her favourite.

Found a package of venison stew meat in the freezer. Fried it up in a pan with some spices and put it over rice. Glad I have a gas stove, power went out halfway through cooking. Turned out really good. Thinking I might grind up the leftover venison, add a little mayo and pickle and make it a sandwich spread.
