We were invited to a Crawfish boil last night. It was the first time cooking them for these folks and they seemed a little afraid to spice them up. Still good though.
Putting a roast in the crock pot. Baked potatoes and baked beans.
Whole wings were on sale at the market... fried up a batch for supper. Vacuum sealed and froze the rest.
Oh, saw deviled eggs at the deli, had to get some. They were tasty.

jasmine rice, stir fry chicken and veggies. had just enough for four young kids and a mix of six adults. Missing a few of the adults but it was a great evening.
I made this last night, and it turned out pretty well. I liked it, and more importantly, my wife liked it so I will make it again. I used Minute Rice, and combined rather than cooking everything in one pot.
Tonight, a slice of fried Bologna, on a grilled cheese sandwich, we are rollin old school.
Chicken salad sanmichs and sweet midget pickles

SIL had her 75 birthday, we meet at California Dreaming, I had short ribs, salad & fries.

Found some sausage in the freezer and fried it up in a pan. No idea what kind they are, but man did they smell gooood! Dumped in a jar of the 'maters I canned last summer, simmered it til the juice cooked off and had a tasty supper.
Hubby brought home a pizza!

Hash brown bowls with hot sausage, scrambled eggs an cheddar cheese.
A few days back I got my final spring turkey of the year. We got around to frying half of the breast tonight with mashed potatoes and gravy, greens and biscuits.

Jake made pork steaks and eggs for he and I this morning.
Chicken fried steak and all the fixins!!
I took Alexandra out for Mothers Day last night, dinner was awful I told her I’d make her a nice dinner at home. It was 10x better than what we had at the restaurant.

Daughter fixed stone taco soup, just the two of us. I called it stone taco soup because she didn't think we had anything to fix. I did find some extremely bulging cans. 
Only 5 years overdue. At least it had been there if needed. (You know the stone soup story, right)?

I’d rather have lamb chops than a steak any day!
Darn it! Now I'm gonna have to drive to the market by the university. Only place in town with lamb chops and shank. I like lamb just about anyway style, even lamb tacos. Used to get mongolian lamb at a chinese restaurant! Good stuff!
Made fajitas tonight, chicken and beef!! Big ol' fix your own fajita bar!!
Baked ziti for us tonight.
