Stopped at a bakery and picked up a loaf of sourdough bread. Now I just have to fry up some butcher shop bacon, slice up the tomatoes, wash the lettuce and spread some mayo cuz its BLT night. I am going to stack the bacon high and gobble down 2 fat sammies. Tossed a bottle of grape soda in the fridge this morning so it should be nice and cold when I sit down to eat.

Last night I put 2 big thick ribeyes on the pan with a rack, patted them down, ground sea salt and black pepper all over them and tossed them in the ice box. Will throw them on charcoal with a piece of hickory later on. Right next to them will be a foil pack of asparagus, mushrooms, onions, leftover bacon and ghee. I have a couple leftover brown rolls so they will probably get wrapped in foil pack and spend some time on the kettle too. A hearty steak requires a hearty beverage, so I am going with Jarritos Cola.

Man I love me some foil roasted veggies!!!!!

I have 18" by 2' a swing away made from walkway grille with a piece of rebar bent for a support.

It has a piece of 1 1/2 heavy aluminum pipe for the pivot point and a railroad crossing screw for the inner pivot.

It will carry a lot of weight and is easy to swing aside and add wood to the fire, let cool or get ready for the next pot of coffee or round of food.

Now that is the way I like to live in the woods.

HEY pack the victuals we goin to da woods!!!!

What I want is corned beef, What I'll likely get is eggs and grits.
Maybe something from my canned stash? Its getting rotation season anyway.

The woman wants pizza. There's a run down place about 20 miles from here that sells a pretty decent 4 meat pie so I am sure she will send me off for a drive so I can feed her culinary desires at the expensive of my time, gas and cash. But who knows, maybe she will want to go with and eat it there. Regardless I am going to have a Dr. Pepper.

I know I'm in the minority but don't really care for mac n cheese. Don''t hate it, will eat it if there's nothing else in the house but won't seek it out! I might get a spoon full of it there's an empty spot on my plate at christmas or thanksgiving... but only if there's and empty spot. 😁

My husband doesn’t like Mac n cheese. His twin brother would gag at the sight of them. 🤣 I make it for myself every once in a while.

Tonight I made smokies sort of hot dogs on a bun with sauerkraut and air fried frozen fries.

To me pasta is pasta. Doesn't matter the size or what folks put on it... it's still pasta, just poorly made bread 🤣. It's okay but given a choice i usually choose something else. I make spaghetti at home for a change of pace, sometimes have baked spaghetti at the meat n 3 down the road. An a few times a year I'll have mac n cheese, poorly made bread being hidden by cheese. 😇
