No picture, but we nixed the cole slaw and got sushi rolls off the sushi food truck out on the highway. They have the most awesome food, and reasonable, at $7 for a Philly roll.

Meal of the day: curry buttermilk, chicken, shitake mushrooms over a mix of wild, red and brown rice. Fried basalmic vinegar and honey brussel sprouts.

Today, I made cabbage steaks. Topped with cheese,real bacon bits and sour cream. Sides are leftover candied sweet potatoes and a deviled egg. Banana bread for dessert.

Got a request for chicken fried steak! Guess I'm cooking a big meal. Can have leftovers tomorrow so that works for me!!

That is what I had for dinner. I bought a package of two steaks, cut them in half, so there were 4 steaks. Mashed potatoes, gravy and green beans. I ate one of the half steaks and made up 3 other containers for future meals. I put them in plastic take out containers, but put parchment paper on the bottom so that I can take them out of the container before I heat it up. I'm house sitting until Thursday, so I will probably eat them before I go home.

Meant to make manicotti, but the shells just fell apart when I cooked them. So they are going to the chickens. Started again, and just made pasta. Added the leftover prime rib in chunks, sliced mozzarella and some ricotta cheese, and sauce, and just baked it. Fresh bread and some broccoli.

A small slice of cheese cake, some leftover hash browns with sausage from breakfast, and a double bourbon. I spent the afternoon tiling the bathroom and that was as much effort as I was able to muster for dinner. Everyone else had to figure out what to eat for themselves.

When I was at church today I reached into my purse to get a pen and found...a small dill pickle in a plastic zip bag...from yesterday's lunch at work.

St Lewis ribs with honey hog seasoning , brown sugar and clover honey on the Traeger pellet smoker for four and half hours at 275 deg. Smoked Mac-n-cheese and an ice cold Yuengling flight to top it off. Man in stuffed like a tic.
