Husband wanted something his dad used to make when he was little. His dad had dinner duty for the 4 kids when his mom was taking RN classes at night. It was cooked hamburger, salt and pepper, and cooked mixed veggies in it (peas, corn, potato, carrot, green beans). Brought back memories for him. The other thing he remembered eating when dad cooked was spaghettios with hotdogs cut up. I'm drawing the line there.

My dad always made goulash.

That's what my father in law called it, goulash. I was impressed that he made them sos, too, with homemade white sauce.
Tonight we had pork loin, roasted potatoes, green beans, fruit, and sourdough.

I like SOS too. Yum!

Yesterday my new stove didn’t arrive. Last night I couldn’t sleep and since I had a pound of burger that was about to go bad… I made a pot of chili in the wee hours.

Tonight was chili with sourcream, cheese and chives… garlic toast w/fresh garlic and a bowl of fruit… yummy! Chili is always better after a couple of days! :)

Fried meatloaf and a garden salad.
Meatloaf was leftovers. I fixed my wife biscuits and sausage with gravy and ate her portion of the salad too.

Hubby went nuts over the turkey meatloaf so I only have 2 slices left.
I plan on using them in some spaghetti sauce today and I'm leaning towards making some baked spaghetti

Last night I was on my own for dinner, so I had a plate of sliced summer sausage, colby jack cheese, pickled green beans, and a few blueberries.

Tonight I am making roasted pork loin, green beans with butter & bacon, and raspberries.
