I actually cooked today!!!

DW has been gone for 6 days and the beanie-weenies ran out last night.
...ok, so I only cooked mac&cheese from a box, but I'm a guy, and had to use the stove, and even a pot!
I think that deserves at least a bronze metal.
(no pic, I think everybody on the planet has seen mac&cheese).

I'm just glad you weren't too traumatized from running out of beans and you could actually make something else!! That was very brave of you!! You definitely deserve a reward!!

To this day, I am surprised that stores don't have 25-pound bags labeled: "Purina Husband Chow".
Most husbands are simple creatures, just pour a bowl full of 'Cheeseburger Flavor' nuggets into a bowl, and park a beer next to it...

I had a filet mignon, grilled shrimp and salad. The wife had grilled salmon, broccoli and something called a blooming onion.

I ground up the last of the turkey and made "turkey spread" with onions, pickles, salt, pepper and mayo. I will put it on dinner rolls. I also made a basic garden salad and tossed a Fanta orange into the fridge.

Yep. It's 130 miles from here but we like it and it's probably the closest nice restaurant from here.

Excellent choice! For Thanksgiving I made some cheese, habanaro and bacon stuffed jalapenos. I smoked the jalapenos, habanaros and cheese first. Then for breakfast I took the leftovers and diced them and put in scrambled eggs. Dang, I'm getting hungry again.

I actually don't know. We have sausages, chips and eggs last night. Not in a cooking mood, but there are others to consider! Something winterish.

Just realised I've never cooked goat - though it's not something I've seen for sale. Have to rectify that!
