$3.99 cash per gallon, with rumors of it going to over $7 a gallon, as often happens around here, rumors turn up to come to pass, hold on to your britches friends, the vapors from the fan are getting rather brown.

The Democrat plan to cause the switch to electric vehicles - is Progressing Properly. [It's snowing here, a foot or so predicted, so I haven't gone out to survey the local suppliers.]

It was $3.70 yesterday. Until this commie Biden got in to office we were producing more oil than we could use and we exported some. Now oil is $92 per barrel and we're importing oil from places like Russia and Canada. Gas has doubled just since Biden got in to the WH. Thanks Biden voters. We are just now beginning to see price increases and shortages. Be prepared to see everything double, at least. Thanks Biden voters.

They add a bunch of crap to our gas in the name of making less pollution and so they can charge us more money.

I would have to see if I could find a good link that details all of the taxes they include on gasoline. Part of it is a "Sin" tax. They don't want you to drive so they tax it accordingly, just like alcohol or tobacco.

Here is a link that shows some of the taxes. California also requires a special formulation to meet their environmental regulations.

Thanks for posting the link on taxes. Crazy, the differences. That reference might come in handy if planning some travel and figuring where to refill.
