Gas is at about $4.45 a gallon at the cheap station (Arco) if you pay cash. $4.55 for credit or debit.

K was promised a work truck again which would cut our gas expenses as they give a gas card with the truck. I'll believe it when it pulls in to my driveway. We budget $250 for gas a week.

Is that sue to travel from home to work?

Otherwise it could be deducted from taxes.

Ben

Well, I forgot to fill up with fuel while in the small town but I remembered when I got home I was gonna post the prices I didn't take note of, so I drove back this evening to fill up since I just got paid and we may get a couple inches of snow out of this blizzard they are warning us about that is lame at best.

85 octane is $3.49
Diesel is $3.99

About $200 of it is gas for K to commute and $50 for my wagon. But he doesn't drive as part of his job so our tax guy says we have to eat it. The sickening part is when he had a company truck a year ago the company taxed the crap out of us for the insurance and the use of the vehicle.

K has to fill up tonight and we are expecting snow as well. He keeps using our gas stores because he is too lazy to fill up. Lazy bum. I just put the money aside for refilling the cans.

Went to the doctor yesterday. BP hasn't improved much even after upping the dose, but it isn't terrible. We talked things over and added a water pill that should help. Had him listen to the heart and lungs because of the uneasy feeling in my chest and shoulders, both are perfect. At home I looked up the BP med, the side effects explain the uneasy feelings I have been having. minor muscle cramps, tingling, etc, so now I can relax and not worry about that stuff and that will help my mind relax which should help ease the BP.

Meds have a purpose but the side effects require another med and then that one has side effects so another med.....

He suggested a blood test to make sure my kidneys are OK, I asked him to check testosterone too. 53 so I am sure that has dropped some, if I can get some extra energy I can get some exercise done, along with work on the house, and that should be a good step to getting off the BP meds.

Snowed yesterday and a little overnight, light flurries now that should stop by this afternoon. We have a couple inches on the ground, the bulk of it melted due to 50's and 60's the past few weeks warming the ground. We needed the water and it should melt within a couple days.

Gonna make me a coupe Tshirts with my Funny Farm Ranch logo and wear one while filming the last part of my how to video for painting the sign. It needs to get done today, at the start of the video I mentioned we needed water and asked for someone to send us some rain so today I will complain that I asked for rain and they sent snow. dancing chicken

Hang on to your skivvys folks, When we went to town gas was 3.20 at a spot in town, when we came back through it was 3.50 a gallon.

$3.99 cash per gallon, with rumors of it going to over $7 a gallon, as often happens around here, rumors turn up to come to pass, hold on to your britches friends, the vapors from the fan are getting rather brown.
