@SoulSeeker So sorry about having to give up the car. Insurance is a scam in many ways.

@Ekatarina I hope you heal up quickly. I can imagine you have some nasty bruises.

@Mountain trapper I hope the rest of your trip is going/went well and safe.

Yesterday we wanted to go to Flying Wok for friend's birthday but it closes on Tuesdays for some reason. Went to a place at the casino instead. Good food but hella expensive. They give a lot of food though and we all had stuff to take home. Went back to friend's house afterward and played with the kittens. They are very friendly. Kelebrimbor is still the runt but he's so cuddly. The tortie in the group chased after us when we were leaving. Everyone had a good time. 4-yr-old was well-behaved. It was funny when he was asked what he wanted to drink and he said "Drink". Friend said "Sprite?" and kid said "NO! Drink!" so I said "Sprite is a drink" and he said "Ok!" He's starting to get a little better at speaking. He recognizes the number 10 and he likes to point at things and say "What's that?" and then repeat what was said. And he recognizes animals and stuff like cats and cows. He still doesn't have the comprehension and verbal skills he should have at his age though.

Went to Walmart to get stuff Mom requested and then home, unloaded groceries, and went straight to bed. I still had music playing for Rupert and he was happy. He slept on me peacefully last night and this morning he got up after I did (I went to eat something) and he wanted to see me. Brother opened the door to let him come see me in the living room. He sat on my lap and purred. I gave him some more Lil Shakes and he was happy. I had a little spreadable cheese on my finger before I fed him and he tried to devour my finger so I knew he was hungry. Mom woke up and came in. She said that he was eating dry food in the kitchen while I was out. So he's doing much better.

I got her to hold him for me while I got her something to eat.

We're back in my room now still listening to music and he's sleeping.

Need to do a small load of laundry for Mom before her appointment this afternoon.

Coffee and work mostly. I am supposed to get my car back from the dealership today so that will be at least a two and half hour disruption for the day, probably at the most inconvenient time. Have to make real dinner since all the leftovers got devoured by the teenager yesterday. Need to think about packing for our anniversary trip starting on Friday.

I'm at GF's house. She has a contractor here today to repair the drywall that the siding crew somehow cracked around one of her living room windows. She's working from home to oversee the contractor's work quality, and my job is to keep the dog out of everybody's hair for the morning. We went for a walk and played fetch at the ball diamond already. I thought my day off would be lazy, but at 10:00 I've already got almost 5000 steps according to my cheap crappy fitness watch. I need to slow down!😁

A little sore still this morning, but walked anyway and then walked dogs.
I have some VA phone calls to make and then find items and make Christmas sheep ornaments. The sheep represents the Lamb of God so I hope to open the door to talk to the little ones a little bit.
That's all on the list for today.

Apple software updates, Computer and Phone both, if everything explodes they might be mad at me :p

Got up, went to the fitness center and worked out with the girl, got cleaned up, followed her around a while, picked up some tacos, went to see the lady then back to her place, called my pops to see how his surgery went and he said "I'm alive". Nurse wouldn't tell me squat. I am not sure exactly what surgery he had as he is as transparent as a black window, I just know it involved his eye. I asked if he wanted me to be there and he said "Why? Did you go to med school when I wasn't looking?". So now I am just sitting her. Might go for a swim or something.

Took Rupert for a walk. He really seemed to enjoy it. Got laundry done.
Then the dog, Princess, had to be a colossal douchewaffle because Rupert accidentally stepped on her while walking over to me. She jumped on him and attacked him. He was crying and she was growling. I grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and pulled her off and told her she was bad, bared my teeth and growled at her before gently picking Rupert up and holding him. His nose was bleeding and he was understandably upset. He seems to be a bit sore from it. She's never attacked a cat like that before-- she's sniped at them for stepping on her but never continued like that. She learned it from Fippy and I made sure she knew it was not OK. She kept looking to me afterward and I stared her down until she looked away.

Took me forever to get Rupert purring again but I finally did. He's now sleeping on my chest.

My Irishman isn't steamed any longer.
We been having quite the interesting talks.
Seems he finally decided I wasn't going to ask Nick for help.
I finally told him if there was blood(washcloth drenched)not a paper cut amount of blood dripping.
I would call my sons, then I would call Nick.
But I would call the ambulance first before I called anybody.
That seemed to settle his mind.
Adult male logic is somewhat strange.
I called him at 0400 hours this morning my time.
Then I rolled over and went back to sleep for a couple of hours.
He did ask that I don't drink tequila unless he's home.
He doesn't want me to get warm.....lol.....

The rumors of my computer and phone exploding are greatly exaggerated:eyeballs:

What? You didn't get your welcome message to the Hezbollah chat group?:dunno:

I'm just shot today. I think I'm still recovering from that derailment Sunday and Monday. I'm getting too old to work 35 hours in 2 days and then try to drive 6 hours home on top of it.

I should be doing something productive, but right now I'm playing on my phone and charging up a new Bluetooth device. I found this little gadget that plugs into the "Aux in" port on any radio that doesn't have Bluetooth capability. It will receive the BT signal and then play it in the radio, just like plugging in any other audio device. It is supposed to have much better sound quality that the FM transmitter Bluetooth devices, and it will let me stream music on my old home stereo...

I was supposed to eat dinner, hang out for a bit, then head to the compound. I have people coming tomorrow to haul the shipping containers and I have to start hauling loads to the storage garage. But nope, Miss "you should stay the night" keeps flashing body parts at me thus overruling logic and reasoning. So now I am going to stay the night, get up, go to a meeting with the firm, then drive uphill for an hour to get to the compound.

Women only want one thing.

I know an Irishman that wants the same dang thing?
Lessons in Belly Dancing.......LOL.....

After 2 days of unusually high energy levels I got a lot of things done. Wanted to continue today but nope, no energy. Couple of naps, got a load of clothes washed, a few dishes.

Dad informed me late today he was completely out of chicken feed. So I had to go to the little town this evening. Got 300lbs of chicken feed and 150lbs of dog food. Got a few groceries while I was in town then drove home. The moon looked huge tonight for some reason…

Got some of the groceries in the house, the rest can wait til tomorrow. I started another load of laundry. Watching a little tv now...

Mom started feeling sick slightly before we left for her appointment. She's got post-nasal drip pretty bad. Flowers are in bloom so pollen is high. Rupert tried to follow me on the way out so I asked my brother to watch him. Took her to the appointment and NP said to get her to eat protein and drink lots of water. I tried to get her something to eat but she declined. She went straight to bed when we got home. I didn't see Rupert anywhere so popped in to ask my brother and he had Rupert in his arms. Rupert heard me and started meowing and wanting my attention. So I gave my brother some popcorn chicken and he handed Rupert over to me. Rupie is sleeping up against me now.

Lower back and hips are hurting even though I took naprosyn. Going to take a nap as well.

Finally my left body side was not painful so I was able to go

Busy day ..grocery shopping for myself and dog and cats
All went well.....................except a back left almost flat tire
Chinese guy in the shopping center parking noticed and did show me

Weird but ...at least I was able to go to closest garage to ask a guy
to check all my tires and put air in the one that did need it
So was able to go back home safely

But tonight my body a bit sore... Tylenol is my friend lately ;)

Good night soon or later
Try to sleep well

I have to get up early tomorrow ..oh well
