@SoulSeeker So sorry about having to give up the car. Insurance is a scam in many ways.
@Ekatarina I hope you heal up quickly. I can imagine you have some nasty bruises.
@Mountain trapper I hope the rest of your trip is going/went well and safe.
Yesterday we wanted to go to Flying Wok for friend's birthday but it closes on Tuesdays for some reason. Went to a place at the casino instead. Good food but hella expensive. They give a lot of food though and we all had stuff to take home. Went back to friend's house afterward and played with the kittens. They are very friendly. Kelebrimbor is still the runt but he's so cuddly. The tortie in the group chased after us when we were leaving. Everyone had a good time. 4-yr-old was well-behaved. It was funny when he was asked what he wanted to drink and he said "Drink". Friend said "Sprite?" and kid said "NO! Drink!" so I said "Sprite is a drink" and he said "Ok!" He's starting to get a little better at speaking. He recognizes the number 10 and he likes to point at things and say "What's that?" and then repeat what was said. And he recognizes animals and stuff like cats and cows. He still doesn't have the comprehension and verbal skills he should have at his age though.
Went to Walmart to get stuff Mom requested and then home, unloaded groceries, and went straight to bed. I still had music playing for Rupert and he was happy. He slept on me peacefully last night and this morning he got up after I did (I went to eat something) and he wanted to see me. Brother opened the door to let him come see me in the living room. He sat on my lap and purred. I gave him some more Lil Shakes and he was happy. I had a little spreadable cheese on my finger before I fed him and he tried to devour my finger so I knew he was hungry. Mom woke up and came in. She said that he was eating dry food in the kitchen while I was out. So he's doing much better.
I got her to hold him for me while I got her something to eat.
We're back in my room now still listening to music and he's sleeping.
Need to do a small load of laundry for Mom before her appointment this afternoon.
