Finished my Kroger Shopping, now I need to get it all put away. Good coupon on all Christmas 50% off...I needed 10 dozen votive candles for our luminarias for Christmas eve. Regularly 2 dz for 6.95. Got a discount on those. We do luminarias instead of Christmas lights.
Watched son make rabbit bone broth in my kitchen for the last three days. Then he took the meat and bone pieces that he strained and ran them through my dehydrator. Just ground it up for his dogs. Tanning 7 rabbit pelts. This kitchen smells odd.

Baked a small piece of ham, baked Sweet potatoes went in the oven early this morning.
Ham and white navy beans went into crockpot this morning on low.
Seasoned with butter, bay leaf, white pepper.
Have at least several meals done in case I have grand daughter tomorrow.
Still have divy up rolls that I got from Wal*Mart yesterday.
36 miniature french breads for $2.45, will use Food Saver to bag them up.
6 to a bag, at least 6 bags will go to chest freezer.
Had more but I ate 2 already.

It's National Banana Fruitcake day! At least it is for me! LOL Making about 30 miniature loaves and about 10 regulars. Used to do about 5 times that, but not since I left FL. Before I start, I may run to Kroger for their baking specials on flour and sugar. Will probably fill out a few more Christmas cards, too.

Had a get together for a couple folks at work this morning that are retirieing at the end of the year. reviewed some work orders from the week and left at 11 today. Went to one of my Dr's for some sample meds, them to the local fun store to try some new ammo out. The home, to the dump, and local tractor shop for some filters to do maintenance to the tractor this winter. Back home and aired up tires on 3 vehicles for the winter, then blew up leaves to spread to the garden to over winter. Just made a dent in the leaves. lots more to do tomorrow on them. Wife had a big pot of stroganoph ready when I came in after dark. Relaxing to some good music and a tall glass of brandy tonight. back at it in the morning. Wife is pet sitting for the lady she works for.

Rock mostly. At the moment Janis Joplin from 1969 "Try". We have direct TV and have found a few good music channels that are classic rocks, 80's rock, and such.
I've heard everything from The band signing "The Weight" to Skid Row doing "18 and life".

What do you like to listen to?

this is funny. i've been posting in my thread titled the night they drove ol' dixie down. some of it is stuff i listen to, some people put their stuff they like too and I don't like some of it at all, but to each his own, ya know? maybe your wife would like some of the stuff I've posted.

For some reason I've never hit that thread. I need to go take a look for sure.
Wife is much more varied in her likes than I am. I mostly like old rock, some bluegrass and country. I've also always been much more partial to just music with no vocals. Only a few folks I really enjoy their vocals. Paul Rogers of Bad Comapany and Free is one for sure.

Amish Bad Co is one of my all time favorites. Great band for sure. Other faves of mine are Lynard Skynard, Eagles, Kansas, Styx. We watched a recording we made of former members of Bachman Tuner Overdrive playing many of their hits, also some from the Guess Who the Randy Bachman was in back in the late 60's.
I don't drink very often, but a nice glass of E&J hits the spot when I do.

DH cut my hair this morning, put on a load of washing after stain removing, hung it on the line and brought it back in. DH vacuumed the whole house for the week.

We then went to our church's Christmas party and played cricket, socialised and ate. I was one of the only women who went out there and hit the ball (tennis ball) and made a few runs. Been a few years since I played either softball or golf but haven't lost the swing or hitting the ball I am pleased to report. The running was a bit slower today after us moving and packing the last couple of weeks and my muscles were aching before we got there.

Have you gotten moved yet?

Looks like we have similar tastes in music Backpacker. I have all of those record albums you listed, and have seen most of them in concert. I love playing old records. The grandkids think I'm nuts. Playing Kansas in Kansas is good.
ME TOO on faves. Kansas was a great concert.
@Sewingcreations15 I'm glad you could run. Your foot and ankle must be better. Cutting long hair is hard! Keeping it straight or correct angle. Saves money to do it yourselves for sure.
