Get well soon, Jim.
PS you're going to have the ladies all swooning if you keep putting up shirtless pics, showing off your guns...
Amish, what a pain in the backside. I really think between California and New Mexico, there have been some challenges with people who have gotten children. They have no idea who they are dealing with, and I mean all that you and hubby have going for you. But, this is such an invasion of privacy. They are all power hungry as well. Thanks, Sewing. Now the weird questions begin. I was emailed an 11 pg questionnaire for husband and I to each do. Questions are check the boxes to all that apply: How would you describe yourself as a teenager (then there's like 15 boxes of adjectives), Ha. For me, that would be 45 yrs ago. There's two pages with check the boxes about how I feel about my mother. Then come the pages of how I feel about my husband. They sent me a one page physical form that needs to be filled out by a doctor. A fourth of the page asks about my ability to have children, and reasons why I can't. Ha. Ha. Should they just put too old? There's also the 15 page application form, and then copies of our life: birth certs, passports, car registrations, insurance on everything. They have waived the requirement for psychological evaluation, since that was a stopping point for me. So...we begin our special "in home" classes on December 6th. After I complete all the paperwork satisfactorily. (eye roll)
Good to hear from you Jim. Glad everything went well. I bet you'll be chasin them nurses around in next day or 2.
I've been watching it downpour. Roof leaking a little in our radio room. Had to move electronics. Then it started snowing, but melted when it hit the ground. It's pretty cold out right now, but I'm going to bundle up and go take care of the chickens. Too bad I left my muck boots outside. Full of water now.
Mud room. Muck boots must be left in the mud room, AH. Some of you Sothren folk have developed bad habits in this New America.
We don't have a mud season so there's not many mud rooms down here.
That sounds absolutely delightful! We've been watching it snow all morning. We're up to 4" now and its still coming down lightly. Power has been off and on all morning so we are just sitting around reading and relaxing.
Its wonderful. Nice and warm by the woodstove, its hard to stay awake. That sounds absolutely delightful!
