Dang it, I never got a call back from my doctors office.
I'm sure I'll hear from them in the morning. This crud gets worse as the day gets on. Hope I get to see the doctor tomorrow.

Yesterday DH mowed the front and side of house lawns as it was not nearly as soggy out there, he also remowed the whole acreage again as the grass had shot back up in 2 days and he also dug 6 meters of our storm water trench deeper.

We have found someone in town that has a trench digger so the rest will be dug out by that and only cost about $100 - $150 and it costs $274 a day to hire one so that will be a saving and also save DH from heavy digging with his injuries and subsequent grumpiness towards me due to his high pain levels , so well worth it in my books and it will probably only take an hour to do.

While he was doing that I shoveled about 1/2 a cubic metre of clayey wet soil back into 5 large holes the bogged truck left in our yard. To say we are both sore would be an underestimation and in the afternoon spread the grass clippings around the ornamental shrub gardens around 3 sides of the home.

Round 1 of today is while DH slept I stain removed everything that needed it for 2 loads of washing and put on DH's load of washing and then followed with my own load of washing and we both hung it on the clothes line to dry. I have also set the grey water pump off to water 2 fruit trees in the paddock and DH has set off the drip irrigation system for the vegetable garden beds and watered all the potted fruit trees with rainwater that we caught in buckets off the shed tank roof. DH has a loaf of bread on in the bread making machine for some lunch shortly when it finishes.

I just feel like I have been run over by a tank after shoveling so much dirt yesterday but today is going to be gentle pursuits .

Finally got some ice water down, that helped the throat a little.
Now I wait for Clinic to open.

I'm thinking strep throat.
It's going around.

If they can't see me today , I may drive the 100 miles to ER.

Finally got thru to my Clinic,
They can't see me today.

Sooooooo, they told me to go to the Urgent Care at the big hospital. VA approved.
Didn't know that. Allowed 3 visits a year no cost to me, even prescriptions. It's a new VA benefit nobody told us about.

I called them too verify. Ok.

On my way.
Fever is 102.

Feel like shtf.

I took a shower this morning and when I finished, the hot water wouldn't shut off. The main valve is in the back of the insurance office below my place. So I went down and shut it off, and they told me the water lines had frozen again while I was in Colorado. Not sure why there's so much trouble this year, it hasn't been a very cold winter. But for now, I'm waiting on the maintenance guy to get here...

I don't care much for Wednesdays, either, Patchouli. I used to like them, my weekly grocery sale shopping. A little different now. Husband works two days a week, but the two days vary. The other days, he packs with appointments. I can't leave the house at all with workers here. Husband is at work today. Tomorrow he has a filling, then said he'd be home and wants lunch. Then off to rehab for the afternoon. Granddaughter's bus gets in at 12:30 on Wednesdays. 3:50 on other days. I have to be home for that. Friday he says he's having lunch with our daughter, then off to rehab. Hmmm. Well, I do have a lot of painting to do. Finished painting the toilet room in our bathroom yesterday, two coats. And two doors and some baseboard. Plan to do more this afternoon.

@phideaux my daughter puts sliced onions all over the room and cures,cold, allegies. She just foud out her grandkids have flu or cold so she is on way to pick them up and guess what? Yes it is onion time for all of them.. She slsol ikes salt theropy.
Had a nice visit with all my kids and and son in law ,right time wrong place, I had a heart attack Monday 10 days ao,had 2 stents pu in Monday a couple days ago. Not fun and now Plavix,aspiin for 6 months [ maybe ]. I'm fine now so far now suppose to use hand much today though.
Dr got md at me for not taking anestesia and yold me to be still he was inside my heart, . They don't like you awake during surgery,but I don'y like to be put under .
I told them I will do cardiac rehab to fix other blockage,
They almost threw me out of hospital for going out side and smoking, then cop came up to me . I told the dictators I quit smoking when I say nto when they do and I don't need to go threw nico withdrawalas under this stress. I stopped goign outside and they did the surgery.. No place on the whole grounds to smoke. I had to stay for a week so I was all over that floor, they tried to giv me nerve pill,no way! But they are a rally nice and patiant bunch.

Snappy and I am trying to set quit smoking date after all these dr appt.s Seems 70 was the maintanance age for me. Hve to repair and fix some things. But will try to pick myself up with help from dr.s. I ask hubby to turn that compost pile for me today, should have got the daughters to do that before they left this morning.

They are good peopel but need to understand we want some say so in our care too.
They had me jacked up on steriods ,agitated, shaky . I'm llergic to contrast dye so had to have them to counter reaction.
They did work ith me after aqhilr though. Told them I'm not good with many meds. So they cut out 3 of them.
They insist on statins, I don't take statins or a couple of the BP meds,So they said ok.

Seems a fellow I helped out awhile back with food stuff.
Finally got his VA pension approved.
He got his first check in the bank yesterday.
He called me at Physical Therapy to come pick up groceries.
So I did.
Friend took me over to pick up the groceries.
I only took him one box, he sent back two.
So I can have some extra for the next Veteran who needs a little help.
My knee is still swollen.
But this time it's the left knee that's swollen.
Right one is swollen too.
Physical therapy tomorrow, Orthopedic surgeon on Friday.
Monday and Wednesday are the last 2 appointments for Physical Therapy.
Wish Spring would get here consistantly.
I want to go outside and walk.
Rethinking the 5 k in March, as much as I hate to admit it.
I'm not ready, so I will sit this one out.
Strawberry thinks she has to go back outside again.
Not hungry, so been munching on walnuts.
Might make up granola this afternoon after a nap.
Everybody have a nice day.
