Birthday celebrations are over the year except for one.
My Irishman and I are going out to dinner Friday evening to celebrate my birthday.
Went out to lunch with friends today to celebrate our October birthdays together.
Great friends, family and food loads of fun.
Shopping adventures, still no heels.
But I got a pair of black ankle boots I could wear with my elegant dress.
Otherwise I got jump boots, combat boots that I would be comfortable in.
Decisions, decisions........

Nothing. And I mean NOTHING is as sexy as a silky elegant dress and combat boots. Now I know what the lady is getting for Christmas.

Happy Birthday, I plan to go to Japanese restaurant 12/10/24 or around that time.
 
use to be this lady i use to see around from time to time...she always wore military pants and combat boots tucked in and some type frilly paisley shirt/blouse thing...she was a woodswoman and was always out digging up roots and messing with stuff outdoors....she was a hottie...hands always stained from black walnut stuff.
 
Just about done with the new roof over the porch on the chicken coop.

Is it only me but its like days are flying
I turn around and ..oops its almost weekend :rolleyes:
And one more week and its November 😮

Anyway ..busy busy
And 11 days before President Elect 2024 ..right

I need a Tylenol arthritis .. my body aches

The older one gets, the faster the days fly by.

I have small feet.
Size 4.5, size 5.
The Army had my jump boots, combat boots specially made for me.
I usually buy my shoes in the kids department.
Sometimes I can find something in Ladies shoe department.

The only thing I do without checking for my keys is eat sleep and shower..

One only has to lock one's keys in a running car in a construction zone one time.

I am back to weeding as part of my occupational therapy. After being immobilized for 6 weeks the flexibility was limited. I noticed myself putting something in my front right pants pocket without thinking about it. That is progress.

I finished the strawberry patch and started to get some beds ready for spring. First of the garlic is up. May have found a couple of young elder.

My subaru will not let me lock the door if the fob is inside. Lori's Subis say "wanna be stupid, go ahead"
 
Did next to nothing all day but rest. Cleaned up my guitar and put on new strings this morning. Planned out my trip to the mtn for music, got clothes ready. Went out this afternoon and took water to the calf. Decided to rehang this annoying gate for the third time in a month. I can hang it perfectly, getting it to stay that way is another matter. It’s been run over or knocked off the hinges several times in the last few years. It looks even worse from the other side. The hinge clamp is supposed to fit a round pipe. The pipe is every shape but round so the clamp keeps slipping to one side or the other.

I have a carabiner full of keys. Some are mine, some are clients houses where I have to let myself in. Having a variety of designs on keys has really helped me out.

I also have some plastic colored tops for keys to help me know what they belong to. Another thing that I have done is to spray paint keys and locks in matching colors.

I keep my car keys on a separate ring that I also keep on the carabiner. I take the car keys off when I am driving. I keep the carabiner clipped to a loop on my fanny pack.

I also have duplicates of most of my keys, and some of my clients keys, in case I lose them. I had one key that got lost for a client. I have a lock box with a code to access with a house key in it in case I ever lock myself out now. It has happened twice in several decades. Once I left my keys with my mechanic many years ago. A couple years ago I locked myself out, had to take an Uber and go to daughter's place where she always has keys for my place.
