I have small feet.
Size 4.5, size 5.
The Army had my jump boots, combat boots specially made for me.
I usually buy my shoes in the kids department.
Sometimes I can find something in Ladies shoe department.
I taught with a woman who wore a size 10 in men's shoes! She couldn't find anything in women's to fit. So she couldn't wear anything feminine, and especially not heels.

Had 2 Dr appointments today. 2nd was my annual physical. Filled my Dr in on all my updates over the past 2 months. he was happy with progress.
1st one was with a cardiologist from St. Thomas hospital in Nashville. My local cardiologist set me up with him right after I got out of the hospital. We didn't know about the stuff at Vandy at that time. Filled him in on what's went on since back then. He said that he thought I was on the right medicine therapy at this time. And due to already being set up with the folks at Vandy, he didn't think I needed him since what he would do was already being covered very well. Told me to call him anytime if I needed him. He said it wasn't right for me to have too many Dr's with their fingers in it. He also informed me he felt like I may end up recovering back to normal function, or close to it. That made my day.

WOW, listen to him!! He is sure on your side!! Such good news!! Thank you!!

Why is it women ...manage... mens stuff when they get into there ..nesting mood.. and not big bunch of ...shoes, purses, scarves... you name it on there 9/10 of the closet ?? Why is there never money for a fishing reel that will last for years, but the toilet gets matching rug, tank top, seat carpet 5-6 times a year ?? Why isn't there a medication for this ??

Don't get me started...
Um you haven’t been to our house. It’s sorta the other way around and another new reel is on the list 😎

The last three days have been a series of interruptions. Can’t finish one thought or task before someone or something else chimes in and demands attention. Makes me want to drop my phone down a well 😉.
Did make quiche so we have something for lunch tomorrow. Hubby had to sample it to make sure it will work - heehee.
Hoping to stay home tomorrow.

Did next to nothing all day but rest. Cleaned up my guitar and put on new strings this morning. Planned out my trip to the mtn for music, got clothes ready. Went out this afternoon and took water to the calf. Decided to rehang this annoying gate for the third time in a month. I can hang it perfectly, getting it to stay that way is another matter. It’s been run over or knocked off the hinges several times in the last few years. It looks even worse from the other side. The hinge clamp is supposed to fit a round pipe. The pipe is every shape but round so the clamp keeps slipping to one side or the other.

Turn bottom hinge up and top hinge down

Turn bottom hinge up and top hinge down
Doesn't help 🤣. This is the only way it'll even connect. Turning the bottom hinge up and I have to connect the clamp above the 3rd rail in the gate which lowers the gate and puts the bottom corner into the dirt. The upper clamp is already at the start of the bend in the pipe so I can't lower the gate anymore.

One solution is to redrill and set the pins in new locations so both clamps are around good pipe. That also put the bottom pin near the middle of the gate. 🤣

Or replace the darn gate with a new one!!!! It's one messed up gate! The other end of the gate is in even worse shape. This is the good end! 🤣

edit to add, there are 5 other gates that have to be rebuilt and/or replaced before this one. It's a low priority... but it's on the list.

Can you turn the gate end for end and have a good end post to work with ??

Peanut, you should see our gates....mostly wooden pallets with a rope tied around them. It's the one thing the goats don't jump over because they can't see the other side well enough

today going to finish the project , ended up taking Otto for a hike yesterday and doing more laundry. Trying to wash all the dirty stuff , real dirty like dog blankets, before it gets too cold to use the outside washing machine. It's in the other building not heated and doesn't start up if it's under around 50 degrees

opened a hay bale from this year already yesterday since it is do dry and grass not growing. I hope we have enough for winter. It's not cold but dry. Neighbors are all feeding hay already too , the weather sure is weird this year

Glad I finished Walmart and Aldi yesterday, Friday's are crazy town there. Still have stuff to put away. No distilled water at Walmart, cleared out. No pasta sauce except the Raols type expensive stuff. Didn't need the pasta sauce, but did want distilled water.
Husband not feeling well, I'll be staying close to home today. Plenty on my to do list. Little granddaughter is off school today, so I'll get some help with chores.

Well..the guy quit already yesterday..:/

I need some time off..I'm burnt out n tired of not being able to take time off when I need too..

It's cooling off fast here..today was nice n sunny tho..

Nothing really new otherwise.. same ol grind..

Happy day @MoBookworm1957
Thank you Hooch for the birthday wishes.

This is the good end of the gate! 🤣 The other vertical pipe has even more damage. To get it usable I had to lay it flat on the ground with plywood on top and drive the tractor over it a dozen times.

I just posted this gate for a laugh... It stands open 10 months out of the year, not used. It's only used when loading cattle or keeping them in this 3 acre holding pen. So it's a very low priority for replacement. Just an annoyance a few weeks each year, I can live with that.

Off to town in a few minutes for a haircut and pick up the weedeater from the repair shop. $125 to replace the carburetor, filter, fuel lines and spark plug. Bad gasoline did it in.

Got up, worked out, had a few staff members thank me and the lady for the candy, sat in the hot tub, returned to the apartment, got cleaned up, watched the lady get ready to go to the spa, came out to the living room, poured a cup of coffee, grabbed my laptop, ordered some ammo and now I am here checking on you people.

Sourdough bread is on first rise.
Starter has been fed.
Hard boiled eggs are done and in refrig.
Pasta dough is resting.
Irishman is doing dishes.
He is also complaining about the amount of dishes he doing.
I just pointed to the sign on kitchen wall that says I cook, you do dishes.
And he bought the sign cause he thought it was cute.
I don't do cute much either.
I'm resting for a minute.
Laundry is started.
1 load going in washer,
1 load in dryer.
1 load at foot of bed ready to be put away.
We're going shoe shopping before going out to dinner tonight.
UGH!
Have a nice day.

Happy Birthday, @MoBookworm1957 ! Have fun this evening!
Glad that you will get back to normal? @Bacpacker !

Already watered roses, walked and did ebay photos.
Will pick up friend and run her around locally and then go to work at cafe from 11-2
Nothing else planned, but things come up.

Found the connector for the trailer lights in the 2010 Subi.

Greased wheel bearings, ordered new lights for the utility trailer.

When Lori gets home I'll load the scooters, just in case one falls on me and I die :p

Might go buy beer for the weekend.

Sounds like you need an allowance! I think this depends on the relationship.

I knew of a couple, where he had all the toys: camper, motorcycle, boat, whatever special vehicle he wanted, 40 + guns and he would go after her, antagonize her, upset her, and then tell her she was paying for all of it. He eventually shot and killed her, so he could be with his mistress, but he is going to be spending the rest of his life, locked up.
