Yesterday we cleaned the chimney out on the fur shed, stacked hay in the barn and looked at a JD grain drill, and bought it. I'll pick it up in a couple of weeks. It looks in pretty good shape. Once I get it home I'll go through it, grease it and replace a couple of parts. Its an old seeder but should work good for our needs. It has both boxes, one for grain and one for grass and alfalfa seeds.
We got about 3 inches of snow last night and this morning.

Decent looking drill. How wide is it? 16' or so?

Well, this old tightwad finally spent some money...
My elbow spends all day, every day on the hard armrest of my chair.
The skin on my elbow (which I cannot see) got in bad shape and had a scab on it.
I fought with it, and finally pulled it off.
What I could not see was, it was dripping blood on my jeans.
I knew this problem won't go away, so I ordered an elbow-pad to go on the chair.
It even came with a backup for when/if I mess it up.
