Could you share more info in the garden thread about that hedge. I have a dream of creating one of those on the South edge of my back field. @ThePrincess wants a hedge we can eat.

Ben
Some one gave my B I L a pint of large Blackberries.
He was potting up a few grafted fruit trees & planted some of the berries & three or four plants came up in each cup he had planted a berry & he pulled them & repotted them.
Then more came up in the first pots, he sold like a hundred, he had 15 left over & ask me to take them because no one were buying them.
They have not bear yet, I have no ideal what I will get, because all are hybridized for many years.
But I am hopeful.

Trying some behavior modification with the pup. The new collar...the beep doesn't bother him, but he does not like the vibrate function. So this can be good. The guineas were out in the rain, like they normal do, gamebirds don't care at all about the rain. Pup was out and got one of them...too wet to fly, almost killed it. So this can come in handy.
For many dogs, but certainly not all, the beep is all they need to get their attention.

Does she have a television at home? Or does she watch much television?
Nope she's Old Order Amish. She's ok to watch at someone elses house, but not own a tv. And of course, not to watch anything inappropriate. It was a show about a young guy about to be married lost his arm when his wagon went over a cliff. It killed his mom, too. The girl didn't want to marry him because his dream was to farm land in California that they had bought. She liked it. No radios or tv normally, but they sing alot. Always a church song going on. We talked about her coming over and having lunch and watching a show for awhile. It was a special event. Tv trays and everything.

He's not yet caring about the beep. Vibrate seems to do it. Makes him stop and look. Then sit. Enough to get his attention. Then I tell him he's a good boy. He was biting husband's shin when he was in the recliner, and no wasn't working. Vibrate worked.

Wonder what Pups do for FUN...?!?
If you are ever bored or feeling lonely, find an active dog park to go hang out in for a while. There you will usually find lots of dogs who are having fun, running, chasing, tug of war, fetching balls, wrestling. You might find retired people who go and hang out with their friends at a particular time each day. You will certainly find other people there. Some will be playing with their dogs. Some will be on their phones and some will be visiting with others. Even if you do not have a dog you can go. I have seen people come with their older children (have to be over 12 to go into dog parks) so that they can get some dog time, but not have a dog to take care of at home. They are social places, communities. I know people in their 80's who go to dog parks. It is an excuse to get off of the couch, out of the house, and to be where something fun is happening. Is it 100% perfect? No, but what is?
